My daughter had identical twin boys over 2yrs ago & had to have scans every weeks as they were sharing the same placenta she was classed as high risk pregnancy she booked a private scan around 16 weeks to find out the gender & all was good no issue or reasons she couldn't have the private scan 😊.congratulations to you both so pleased for your pregnancy announcement & your new home.❤

The Aldi perfumes smell exactly like jo Malone, I love the poppy and barley and pomegranate. I usually find them in the Rustington store if you are ever near that one x

Also, on the scans - I have had to do 2 scans in one day before (I was at a private scan already when the hospital phoned me and told me I needed to come in urgently to check something with them) and I was worried about this and they said it's not an issue to do once or twice so I'd do your private scan if anything maybe place it in the week between 2 of your regular scans so there's some wait time?

You may wish to switch to all natural skincare and home products during your pregnancy as all those chemicals are not good.

Most skincare if perfectly fine and safe to use in pregnancy, with the exception of some specific ingredients such as retinol. You can always consult your midwife about specific products if you have any questions while you’re pregnant. “All natural” skincare is not proven to be any more safe in pregnancy, and can sometimes irritate skin due to use of essential oils which can irritate skin, and contain many compounds which can vary from bottle to bottle. Please do your research before scaremongering. I’m sure Amy will ask her personal healthcare provider if she has any issues or questions regarding skincare, not a randomer in the comments

The thought of useless chemicals going into my body and possibly even my babies was disturbing for me personally, especially when there’s wonderful companies that provide all natural, toxic free, safe products.

Speak to your midwife or consultant about the frequency of scans so they can explain. It’s 14 days between growth scans usually, because babies have growth spurts, but you could potentially have “liquor volume and doppler” scans for medical reasons in between growth scans if needed/recommended by your midwife or doctor xxx

I found out at 10 weeks and 5 days. I went to Harley street and had a blood test to check everything as I had a previous twin miscarriage. With the blood test it gives you a thorough screening for anything and also tells you the gender. Waiting 5 days was torture lol but I was so happy knowing the gender the whole way through. It cost £500 which now I’m like 😮 but I was desperate

I know it's a hard one because this is your job and you maybe haven't heard about this please be careful promoting brands like SHEIN and please don't purchase clothes for your babies from them (I've learned being pregnant also that it's a whole minefield out there, you assume baby items are safe but there's actually not major laws on this which is terrifying) - their baby clothes were tested and came back with 20x the safe amount of lead content (which causes seizures and kidney failure) and PFAS which is strongly linked to causing cancers and can take years after contact to present itself, nothing at all is worth the risk of your babies (and the babies of the people you're promoting them to) getting sick in the future from something avoidable because it was cute and cheap. Not to mention their workers who are largely working mothers have reported abuse and underpayment. I know you maybe want to give followers an affordable option and hard to avoid as an influencer so need to work with fast fashion brands but when it's quite literally dangerous to consumers and their children and is literal slave labour it's a whole different story (we're talking as little as 3p per hour, 75 hour weeks in fire hazard factories). There are so many afforable, ethical, sustainable baby brands that I'm sure would love to work with you to promote their products and that's what people need to hear about because so many that can pay for the big ads on insta etc are also unaffordable! That's what i've struggled with while pregnant and there's a gap in the influencer market for that!!

i still love shopping there. Believe it or not, alot of BRAND names like Zara and others have there clothes made in at the same location and just put their own stamp on it, the Iphone you use, your laptops, all parts made in china. I personally have not been too China, so I am NOT speaking on gossip sites that assume they know all, and again if it is that then you should keep in mind, car parts, Primark, everything almost everything you buy is again from the same location. Soooo I understand exactly what you are saying, but these days over 80% of items are all made in China.

@@duchess4480 Of course, everyone is going to make their own decisions and use their own moral code to decide where they shop but there's a difference between you doing it for yourself and making that decision and influencers promoting it and encouraging others to buy baby stuff especially from there when there's risks involved that could see a large % of children falling ill in the next few years and it will be too late! Same with those other stores too, that's why I mentioned that the affordable sustainable, safe small businesses need more of a platform instead of influencers playing highest bidder and constantly promoting shein, amazon, zara, primark etc!
