An 8 hour Rain World expedition for the silliest reason possible

this was meant to be a 1000 subscriber special, which is a pretty big milestone, so really, that's why this is so much higher quality than the other things i put out. even if that meant making all of you wait a month or two.
like i said at the end, the next video will be very similar to this one, but much shorter and should only take me a couple days to get it out, so expect monday, maybe tuesday.
also, if you were wondering, no, i never did actually complete the expedition. as it stands, it is uncompleted, with me at karma 1. i might try and do it on stream but idk. thats also why you see cycle 53 on the thumbnail, but i only go to cycle 47 in the video. it is currently 3:37 am.

3:50 It's hard to tell without knowing the imputs.There were distinctly three lizard hit noises. When you are bitten by a lizard, there is a half-second window where you can spear it, and I think that happened because I heard a bite sound. It also could have been a missed bite and a slide spear throw, giving the spear the downward velocity req'd to pierce the head, but I don't think that's as likely, as it would have not been very likely to miss. The second was you picked up a spear and threw it. The third hit was accompanied by the lizard flipping, which only happens when it is hit by a rock. In summary, it bit you and you stabbed it at the same time, then you pulled out that spear and stabbed it, and finally you hit it with a rock.

They stun you with their hooks, which they use to drag you up into their gaping and snapping mouth Fortunately they only exist in like 3 regions so most players don't see them, which is good they're just pure horror

3:34 That is a stowaway! They're very, VERY rare, and usually only spawn in Spearmaster to my knowledge. They're ambush predators, and slugpups are their favorite food, so watch the ceilings very closely, as they're nearly invisible until it's too late!

They spawn in all campaigns but are 'asleep' most of the time and just don't show up. I've seen one (that I didn't spawn in manually with mods) in ~1000hrs of playtime.

No, Stowaways spawn in all campaigns but only in very specific rooms. They're categorised as being part of the background of a room so they always consistently show up there.

8:30 Actually, I know how the rain deer refused to move! Well, I don't know why, but I know that in Artificier's timeline the deer lose 90% of their br- I mean, the game can't process the AI of all the creatures nearly as efficient as it usually does, presumably because the game spawns so many scavengers in artificier farm arrays that there are so many things it has to process that it can't do everything. The result is that the rain deer can take up to 5 minutes (maybe even longer) to react to one input. I know it's the scavengers that cause this because if you somehow manage to catch a ride before the scavengers wake up, they actually work normally instead of taking 5 years to move. (Basically, don't go to Farm Arrays as Artificier)

There's an upper route in Sub that Downpour adds that lets you do East -> West Sub with no spear spam. On screen at 4:20 (haha epic number like and subscribe). Also, Drainage System and Filtration System are not the same thing so well done you have baited the "um acktualie" comment engagement for your video, well played.

3:31 its called a stowaway, added in the downpour dlc, theyre really rare to the point where like 80% of people who played through it still havent seen one, they only appear in like... idk 6 rooms in the game at most, and even then theres a chance they dont spawn
