buffs in combat have always worked only in combat, it's literally always been like this idk what you're thinking about but it's not a change it's literally how the game works

@saevin11 buffs in combat are temporary but blood gems were their own thing. At one point however you stacked them they stayed stacked.

Rylak + smuggler work the same way as Bach. If you use the battlecry triggering murloc + smuggler then the gems should stay on the units
