When Iron Maiden release something of their archives they always make it special and put a lot of work into it thats worth your money,, all the live performances are amazing on this set as i got a lend of it years back from a friend.

Great video Nige, you know I love when you do anything Maiden, The Eddie Archive looks amazing it's one item I don't own , I love the steelbox and the contents , I've heard from other fans about the blue and red foam it's great you have the blue one , the detail that is on the box , shotglass and ring is amazing and a great collection of CDs of live Maiden 🤟

This is a beautiful boxset Nige, the tin is incredible, the texture around the sides are something else. The shot glass inside is also amazing. I think pewter is about 91 percent tin, it's the material. I had a Kong watch and the face was made of pewter. Iron Maidens art work has always been some of the best, I love all that skull stuff, it looks awesome.

Hi there, thought I'd send a message, i collect Iron Maiden too, not got quite everything you have but I've been thinking about doing a video on my vinyl collection but on my favourite band HAWKWIND, i have 99% of all UK pressed vinyl including reissued releases etc and pressings from around the world, approx 300+ pieces of Hawkwind vinyl including demos, uncut pic disc, mispressings etc, wouldn't know where to start to do a video. I love your Iron Maiden videos, absolutely stunning collction, i live down the road in Gateshead.

Oh Wow I sometimes go to the Metro Centre and Eldon Square 😃 Just do it in sections, 7" singles as one or 2 videos depending how much stuff you have, same for 12" singles and same for albums. Don't cram it all into one video, spread them out. I'd watch them mate 🙂 Strangely enough I was considering doing my Motörhead vinyl at some point.

I used to have the 12 inch singles originally released which I think came out fortnightly or monthly and then when you'd got them all you sent away for the boxset to put them in.. had that complete from first release and signed by Nico 🙈 sold it years ago.. needless to say huge regret 😢

Stunning set mate! Love Beast over Hammersmith. My favourite live album, I got the triple NOTB set just for this album. So raw and fast! RIP Clive. The b sides is a great cd, yeah shame it’s not complete. The First Ten Years is very special to me so this cd was a must in my collection. Great stuff as ever Nige

Cheers buddy - yeah The First Ten Year's is another cracker. I did a video on the vinyl but I've got the cd version as well. I might do a vid on that one day. I think I have to agree with you mate, The Beast Over Hammersmith has gotta be the best live Maiden album. Nicko just can't play Clive's stuff anywhere near as good.

Yay, the biscuit tin is out, I'll have a Jammie dodger, please. The sticker on my box was acting like a seal, so I had to get my little chopper out (cue Kenneth Williams insert) to splice it open, lost £10 in value right there lol. "Strictly limited" lol, to what number? mines 34K, they must have made at least 40K but more like 50K. Second red press are probably more limited(?) but aren't individually numbered. We know Steve hates the debut LP production, but it gives it a unique raw energy feel that they just can't recapture when they've redone them for B-sides, imo. Didn't Doug play on the Running Free single and Clive on the LP version? Unless I'm thinking of the demo version. Love Burning Ambition, my favourite B-side. Think the rusty boxes are from owners not wiping their grubby finger marks off, especially the underside. £60 new in '02. I remember because the shop wanted to charge me £70. His reasoning, "it'll be worth loads in the future" and added his extra tax, cheeky tw@t. Showed him prices in a magazine and he knocked £5 off.

😂😂😂 a jammie dodger with Eddie's face instead of a heart in the middle. Yeah but you gotta remember, 20, 30 thousand back then wasn't a lot because people were still buying A LOT of CDs. Limited numbers have rapidly decreased because of all that streaming bollocks and Spotify. It's Doug Sampson on drums for Burning Ambition and yeah it's the demo version of Running Free he also drummed on, the 7" single is the album version.

I bought my copy (blue edition) new when it was released in the Netherlands, although it came without the carton box. I assume that the shop threw the boxes out, thinking they were only for packaging from the supplier to the shop. Thankfully, my box has no rust issues whatsoever. My number is 13866. Do you have any idea how many copies were made? Great video, by the way. Up the irons!
