She stood still at the foot of a hill to school. Guess what she said at the foot of the hill? She close her eyes and said, "Sweet bean bread." Saying something she wanted to eat out loud helped her gather her courage. Sanae-san was busy at that time and didn't have time to make Mommy's bento. Maybe she said she could try to make it but Momy said not to. That's what Mommy was like. Then... Ah... right... then... Mommy was... Nagisa... Nagisa... Nagisa... Why are you crying too? Im just browsing in KZbin and come across with this guitar cover and watched it. Its been 9 years since I watched it but the emotions are still there. I remember all the joyous day that they had, the sadness and the pain that they feel. While I'm watching I cried, because this anime is the reason why I changed. This anime taught me how life must go on even if Im already at the edge of taking my own life. This anime is an inspiration to me. I don't care what others think but this piece of art changed everything in my life that's the reason why I still keep on living even though it is hard. This is the reason why I'm writing this message while crying. To all of the people who might read this message Please watch this piece of art, I know that it is old but watch it, please watch it.
I watched Clannad and Clannad After Story with my wife when she was pregnant with our first son. My wife has the same sweet, innocent demeanour of Nagisa and also happens to fall ill a lot. Throughout the entire time, I kept drawing parallels between the two. Needless to say, episode 16 of After Story hit like a tonne of bricks. I heard this legendary tribute randomly while holding my second child in my arms, and all of the emotions came gushing back. Excellent playing mate, words cannot fully describe it.

This always hits so hard, my eyes get blurry and memories that aren't even my own swamp my head. Clannad was truly amazing and did so much for so many- It touched most of us here in at least some way. It made us feel fuzzy and warm to follow all the characters through high school, see them interact, become friends, joke and laugh, even fight. It made us sad and cold when all the tragedy started to hit, Nagisa then Ushio, the characters dealing with change in general, but we all followed it through and overall it made itself an unforgettable journey that I know I'll always hold close.

The journey Clannad After Story puts your through is life-changing, and a big reason for that is its absolutely stellar soundtrack that always seamlessly fits the mood of the scene. It's why a lot of the infamous emotional moments hit so hard and are always remembered so fondly. Your cover of these songs from this beautiful anime really does them justice, my dude. Amazing stuff!

I am looking for this soundtrack.. Whenever I hear this, i feel my heart is aching but its not just because of the sad story, but the love, joy and pain that I have felt as I watched Tomoya and Nagisa's journey and the people around them.. I cant help but wonder, how the people behind this Anime light novel came up with this.. It is just overwhelmingly full of emotions that it is so powerful that it can make you feel so much after watching it.. I could not bring myself to watching the part where Ushio died, I had to stop and then find the courage to continue again hoping that there would be a happy ending somehow, and there it is. I am so happy I finished it and felt satisfied.. though the strong emotions I felt is still here, It may take a while before I could forget, get over it, rather, but I'm sure it's nothing that another great anime story won't heal.. Im sure everyone that liked the story of the Clannad felt the same way.. ❤️🖤💙

I have never been on this channel, I have never seen the anime or played the video game, the only thing I know that I have subscribed to this guy and that I have to watch this anime and play the video game. Thank you for this tribute, it was just breathtaking. Well done.

The video game is just a visual novel. You’ll basically be reading a book on screen

Clannad is the first ever anime series that I completely watched. And I still think it’s the best anime out there after years of watching anime.
