All of those 44 actresses who played Elsa, each and every one of them capture Elsa's pain, sadness, and regret for losing her sister beautifully. *slow hand clap*

***** Gosta do nosso sotaque?

Ooh good idea! This is such a hard part to do because Elsa's voice is the only sound, there is no music. The ones I found most convincing were Arabic, Brazilian, Danish, Dutch, English, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, both Mandarin, Polish and Swedish. But none of the others was absolutely awful (although what was going on with Latvian?!). (Was Serbian missing?)

Geez hearing so much good and touching acting is making me well up, I'm struggling to see the screen!! All of them do it brilliantly and in their own style and it is so so hard for me to choose! However~ the ones that really stood out for me are: Albanian, Danish (a remarkable woman!), Dutch, English, Estonian, French, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Mandarin (BOTH), Persian (both, I love the music they put in the Avajeh, even if it takes away the "a moment suspended in time" theme), Swedish & Thai (omg my barriers actually broke and the tears flooded at her, I love how she sorta shouts a bit, like she's so desperate and kinda hates herself unlike everyone else who did a quite broken voice, so different, but of course everyone did well!)

In Scandinavia, we don't pronounce it aaaaaanaa we pronounce it annaa. The first a is short because there is two consonants after it and the last a is long because there aren't two consonants after. This is true for Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Icelandic. The long a in Anna sounds super cringy actually so it's always annoying to hear that, especially American children xD. I always cringe a bit when I hear it ;). I think it is a Scandinavian name but correct me if I am wrong. Sounds at least like Hungarian got it right ;).

ew Yep, same with Hungarian, like our Finnish language cousins, we see the word and pronounce it as it is. Therefore Anna becomes Anna with a long ‘n’ and both ‘a’s are short

I live in an English speaking country and no one can pronounce it like that :,))

@@KrillvinPingvin Why would the second a, not the first, be short? In Scandinavia, the rule is simply if a vocal that has two consonants directly after it becomes short, and if not you have your normal a. There are very few exceptions to this rule (exceptions always persist) in Swedish. So anyway, what's the rule in Hungarian, why is it a short a at the end? Would love to hear your insight :)
