The HUD argument makes so much sense when I realize I started with disabling it at the beginning of my playthrough and it made the platforming so much more fun for me. Instead of looking for a white button prompt, I went and had to go "can I realistically climb it ?" and also looking at the cat's body language to see if it was in the position that said "yup, I can climb this" I feel like it's still a bit of a shame that only the first area (The Slums I'm pretty sure it's called) involves a lot of platforming, running on rooftops and shit and it kinda dies down in the other areas, or at least doesn't feel as intricate as it did in there.

Im gonna be real here, aside from "awww cat" i think the fact that stray is stupid easy is part of the appeal. Its the casual gaming of puzzle games. My wife wasnt a gamer, then when I deployed she started picking up FPS games but she still does NOT play single player games. Stray is the first game ive ever seen her sit down, play, have fun, have an emotional connection to, then complete. It has to count for something.

But why does any of that happen. You can't just say that it's cyclical when it's never stated the reason humanity died off. Humanity can end. But the world will still exist after that. After me and you die the world moves on. But why does it have to be cyclical. What makes it cyclical, how do we know that there will be another sentience to carry the torch. You can't claim something cyclical without it having consistent repetition. It's poetic that the robots made by humans act like humans sure. But that's arguably attributable to humanity's hubris, it can only imagine itself. And because of that the robots are dying. They might be subject to the same fate as humanity despite no longer having the same physical barriers they did. I could ramble on, but at that point I could be making my own video and mot awkwardly plug a sex toy sponsor since I care more about art than money.
