i was actually surprised xqc predicted the foreshadowing of the fact that the mother was the monster when he said that she was bording up the windows although the problem was actually inside. 1:47:00 it took me a while, but after seeing that room and the texts I’m starting to thing this is a metaphor for what she did to her disabled son. She called him a “monster” and locked him away in that room, and forced him to go in there hence why the kids ask “is the monster gone?” Whenever she puts him back. Tommy, the monster, is her disabled son that she treated like an animal and forced to live in that room that the other monster (maybe jack?) opened for him.

I came to watch a horror game, but this is so much more. This is a very real depiction of spiraling mental health and severe depression. This game portrays this very well. -The feeling of doing nothing but sleeping and completing random tasks. The mental haze. The surrealness. The indoor isolation. The social isolation (not responding to any messages). The sense of constantly waking up at night and having no control over your sleep schedule. This is a really dark game and the poor, neglected kids make it even worse
