A lot of people dont realise that mystic casters weren't supposed to be used against bosses initially but for "elites." For example, most bosses can't be binded or slept (from the first 2 5* casters), so the idea was to put them where there is a slow supply of low level elites and have then work their status to slowly get their charges up to hit them again. Same with this character. She is supposed to hit a single elite to get them low and wait for the next one as they tick down from the powerful dot. Ebenholz, in reality, is the outlier for being a actual boss killer due to him having the numbers and multipliers

Sometimes I think that HG just hates some Operators. To even acquire Delphine you need to clear half of the chapter 13 - the chapter where she supposed to be used. But even then, she costs a *26* DP, because she is welfare op. And you can't promote her either, because she suddenly needs a new material, specific only to this chapter. Her primarily targets in the chapter are shield dudes who apply ASPD debuff on already slow attack speed of Mystic Casters. So, to even use her properly you need to fully clear her chapter and spend some time on grind of new mats. But even then, her kit has practically no unility, compared to every other Mystic colleges. It is effectivelly just damage, which is not great either. It all is just.. Sad. I will give her E2 and all necessary upgrades just because I like her character. But damn you, HG, damn you.

I feel like these chapter and mode specific talents leave some missed opportunity.. I wish they got modules that like, let them use their home-turf talent at half power elsewhere, to reward the people who raise them with the ability to, well not miss out on one of their abilities!!

yea the 2nd talent really pisses me off, where you can use it is useless overall, at least make it ANY STORY stage ffs lol, but if they could actually use their 2nd talent anywhere they would be come actually good characters to used, Morgan trait is really good, she doesn't use a deployment slot so she would go from not being use much to used more often, got a spare slot in ur squad just put in Morgan but sadly she has a module and it just lamely increases her damage not allow her to use 2nd talent else where ffs so no hope for the others!

I just hate the chapter welfare operators like these where they can be very good in their chapter if you e2 them early enough, but it will give you all the materials after clearing standard mode then youd see them not do anything that great outside the chapter only one i still use is heidi because its either her or sora for my bards and obviously i want better uptime

The one saving grace is that at least you get Delphine early on in the chapter, unlike Dagda and Morgan. Not that much of a saving grace, mind you, because you should have a decent roster at this point. But at least Delphine is given to you early enough to at least consider using her in the chapter unlike, say, *when you only have four stages of the chapter left*.

I’d argue that at least Morgan has probably the most usable chapter talent among them (Deploy limit ignore rocks in 12’s insane block requirements) but her kit is also a mess sadly. Barrier converted health rarely last long enough despite a really interesting kit design. She also comes online way too late to be useful.

@@BillyONeal My take is if she's leaving them almost dead, it makes little to no difference than if she just outright finished them off, and if she did with would be a waste of damage anyways. By not attacking almost dead enemies, she can move on to make the most out of skill's damage instead of dumping a huge amount of damage into that guy with 5 hp who could easily be finished off by someone else because you have 12 entire squad slots.

Again, you have *12* squad slots. The obsession with "boss killers" who can solo a boss entirely on their own feels very gamepress brained to me. If Adreana can take out half a bosses hp, you're halving the HP your other units have to deal with. She's a load lightener, not someone who'll play the game for you.

I brought Delphine to Every Ch13 stage after getting her I don’t think I got any use out of her until the last stage where I realized her DOT could help her solo push a payload This event released some not great units, Hoederer isn’t that bad at least

I must be one of those weirdos who love mystic and hunter archetypes, the game is easy enough for you to use almost every single operator you want on almost every single map, there are exceptions yes, but in general you are free to use whoever you want. I personally instantly E2'd her because she is cute and needs hugs, and the operator I'm most hyped for is Rei, we need more bunnies and I love the hunter archetype. If people don't want to use waifus over meta that's their skill issue.

The whole chapter welfare ops are absolutely terribly designed. Niche/terrible units, which you can't even use for most of their release chapter combined with HG's weird instance on kneecapping free operators. FFS just give us a max potential 5* with normal non-gimped stats/pots after the first map or something. Not like any of them would even be top-tier with their chapter specific talents. Doesn't hurt how varied the quality of the units are even if their where not gimped. Heidi and Dagda have really good talents, Delphine's is usable and Morgan has a super niche one on a garbage unit. Either way you can't really (ab)use their talents because they come too late and they keep finding new ways to make their late arrival super annoying. Like sure you get Delphine early, but her E2/SL7 is locked behind map 15 or something so you can't even use it until the end anyway. Morgan sucks outside of her "Ignore Deploy Limit" but the one map where it's super useful is Adverse 4.

Mystic casters make for good clones, yes. Their range is one of the reasons. You will sacrifice some utility in bind uptime and off-skill clone generation frequency though.

I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that mystic caster's stack are used as additional hit on with next attack, it's pretty evident using Harmonie that even at one stack her normal attack fire off with the stack as a bonus, so exept if HG fucked it somehow, Delphine's attack + 3stack should in fact proc max stack of the DoT during S2, I mean, it wouldn't make sense that both 0 and 1 stack are single hit.

Indigo is still my favourite mystic caster which is why I hope that they'll make a 2nd 6* mystic, instead of a millionth frd, aa sniper or lord. Though please HG give every archetype their 6* before any internal competition in general!

While new car op is a potential large DPS, her s2 is locked in hp percentage like Absinthe(why HG suck at balancing lower rarities?). Although she have large milkies I will stick to my Premium Indigo(her s2 is crazy strong and can bind) tbf, I only use them for CC, IS and to pair them with Mumu s3 because of Mystic caster's large attack base stats.

Tbh i dont feel she worth upgred, her s2 has drawback but if the dot is last until enemy die that basically better or, if they just put last like 50 to 60 second, also the drawback give bad thing like, she cant do max stack dot. Anyway welfare chpt good at their chp, outside feel nothing, plus her talent suck, it is mean the first or second deal big amount dmg, the increase is not a big. I would life if the s2 is unlimited dyration that must be better what a waste
