This is true, heartwarming, honest love. When you said you guys stopped fostering so you could focus on helping your kids it made me tear up - you did this for all the right reasons, I wish every foster parent was this dedicated and and had this much love. Bless you guys! Gorgeous family

Ervin Cone Thank you for your kind words of strength! We have had people say things to us about this. But the reality is, God brought our lives together for a reason. We were meant for each other. These are my kids, my people, and I will do all I can to help them to have happy healthy lives and show them love and encouragement. And that is all I can offer to them. It is a mixed up, crazy time in the world right now. I hope love can over shine through these dark clouds that hang over right now. Thank you Ervin. God bless you in your life and your journey. 💗

Congrats! What a sweet and uplifting story. I know all about trauma and children. After rearing six birth children and adopting 11, I’m in the process of adopting an adolescent from Bulgaria, the only country, except the US, that doesn’t restrict because of age. In LA County, I’ve waited SEVEN years to get a placement and “nada”. I’m incredibly healthy at 79. Unconditional love knows no age either for the giver or receiver. Sending lots of love to all of you.

Can't say enough thank you for your love and care!!! Dear, if my 3 brothers and l had a place to go when our "parents" hit us so much, specially my bro Roger and me, Conny, that would have been so much better! I cared for kids from the moment l was 4 years when our tiniest bro came with my so called dad home. My mother didn't want to care for him, l was just come home from hjspitals after 4 years in (some weekends l was "at home") and tadaa, l was mum of my 2 little brothers. I learned to change nappies, to feed, to care. What l didn't have to learn was to love. So it went on, being abused so many times but God saved me from getting mental ill so l suffered but then l was grown up, helping my 2 little bro's to survive. Then we 3 moved and life could begin, slowly, with some stuggles, but l'm still there! First l cared for an old woman who had a cancer in her brain, l was there day and night for 22 hours a day. That was hard! She was dieing when we brought her to a palliative home, cs nl alone couldn't go on with it all! After that l slept for 18 hours without waking up.Then I had 15 kids every afternoon from the streets to care for cs their parents were working or didn't want to find time for them. That was about a periot of 5 years about. Then l got a leading nurse of an ambulant service for helping elderlies and ill people at their homes. The kids were older, it was ok for me and for them. After a time l got a friend and soon l was pregnant! Docs had told me l couldn't! 3 times l lost my sweeties and l was so so sad l didnzt want to live any more. Then l took another profession for 10 month. I got another friend and then we got a baby!!! l felt sick, when pregnant, was in wheelchair, he left us cs that he didn't want. I went through, having my wonder with me all the time! I learned to walk short before he was born btw. Now he's 19, studies, lives here with me and he's so wonderful! I'm in wheelz again but it helps me to move. Nearly all my power's gone now. I'm so glad having had it for so long! Now l'm here, care for my son who studxes to be a teacher for the kids 6 to 10 to tell them loarning can be wonderful and great! I'm so proud of him! We thank God for all! I only can help one refugee family, more powere l don't have any more cs of so much pain when l move any part of my body! I've got a special keyboard, MessagEase, so l can write with my pencil from my Samsung Note 8, so l can help myself and often l speak and it changes that into words written down. So l'm happy to have had a useful life but l whished to have had a bit love for me, too, when l was a kid. People like you make me grateful, thankful and l dream of having love when in heaven some day. Now l enjoy although all the pain that l'm still here to see my son living, helping Mo and his family (he is at the best of our schools in system now, we call it "Gymnasium" and with some help it's ok. He wants to be a doctor or lawyer when grown up ). l help Mo to fulfill his dreams cs he needs massive help. He's here mostly every day from mo to fr and it's oke When we don't meet we see and talk by skype or whattsapp so l can help him even if l'm too sick to see him in reality. It's a hard life but God gave me so much love and l'm so deeply thankful for that! And: l've got a child on my own to care for! He is very ill, chronically, but we got it and now he's grown up! You understand? I'm so happy now for all that! Only l'd loved to have had a place to go for my bro's and me when we were little. So l see your love and take it a little piece for my heart. Ok? Love you and pray for you all! Thanks for reading my tiny story! Be blessed! Yours, Conny L.
