I was in Astore last month. Despite the deplorable road conditions, I enjoyed every bit of my journey. Especially, the Rama Meadows and Rama Lake trek, 10 kms from Astore, was such a humble experience. We have become so addicted to technology that we can't even think of a moment without it but for me, I had my best moments of life when I bid goodbye to tech and connected with nature

I hear you are heading towards Hunza - one of my favorite places in the north. I'd suggest you to go up to the Khunjrab border that connects Pakistan with China. The weather is getting cold so it's wise to see those areas before the mid of October. Also, I'd prefer the road ride for return to Islamabad as there are some phenomenal sceneries on the way. PS: You've a beautiful family :) Best of luck for the rest of the trip.

I was born in Pakistan but I moved out at a very young age and grew up in Germany. As beautiful as it is over here nothing will ever compare to my actual home. I do visit occasionally but mostly just stay with family and don't ever get a chance to travel around Pakistan. Hope to graduate soon and get a decent job so I can start saving for a long vacation in Pakistan and travel to each and every corner! For now, these vlogs will do the job 😉
