Without watching the video back, I think it's a power pack (big battery ) 👍

have you tried doing curves with this machine?
@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop3 ай бұрын
I did do a job where the drawer fascias had curves on them but can't remember if I used this 😅 Flick through the vids until you see a dark oak veneered drawer unit, as I may have used it then 🤷♂️

Where is the best place to buy the edging?
@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop Жыл бұрын
There's a dedicated edging website, I forgot the name, Google iron on edging and you should find it

Hi. How are you finding the katsu router? Considering picking one up. I usually use a router for installing intumescent strips in fire doors 15mm wide 4mm deep.
@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop Жыл бұрын
Hi, It's very good. I've had no probs with it in the 2 or 3 years I've had it. I've only used it for round overs, but I have no reason to think it can't do other jobs 👍

I bought one of these after seeing your video last year. It now sits in the corner of the workshop gaining dust…. The blades on the cutter weren’t good enough to cut the oak Veneer and the black plate that the iron edging sit on while being fed through the machine would get to hot and start melting the glue before you would even start rolling🤦♂️
@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop Жыл бұрын
That's a real shame. I haven't had any of those problems whatsoever, and I've gone through 100's of metres of veneer and other edging. Would you sell it?
@johnbarker29awesome Жыл бұрын
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop Hi yes I would. we are based in Nottingham though.
@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop Жыл бұрын
Did you end up selling your machine? I still use mine weekly
@johnbarker29awesome Жыл бұрын
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop No Don’t use it. we assemble our furniture in units so I think it would worked if we did just had panels and boards. Ah well always keeping my eye out for easier/ faster ways to do the job.
@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop Жыл бұрын
@johnbarker29awesome well if you are selling, let me know how much. If its worth it I'd keep it as a spare 👍
