This is one of the most enjoyable video I have seen about Berbice, Guyana. I like how you showcased just one particular village ,Blairmount and pin point areas specific to the village then along the way you showed different businesses and industry of the area. It's a shame that the government past and present let these transport stellings go to the stage they are today and not doing anything to preserve the heritage of the country. These are the things that holds memories for people. I have never heard or seem those flowers/ Lilly before. That's amazing. It's the first time I am actually seeing canes in the boats as well. I heard that you said the stelling will get better, is that because they are talking about repairing and bringing back those large boats? It's a very nice video. This area have a great history to the villages and its name, back in the late 19th century Three British plantation owner Rossignol, Blair and Mount merge there plantation together and that how the village of Blairmont estate and much later the settlement of Blairmont , Rosignol was born and also Ithaca village was bought by freed slave . Those houses In the estate are call Dutch colonial houses.
