It's a nice step-up from the mine train and a step-down from Gold Rush, I think it's perfectly in the middle of the two other attractions. Although I'm sceptical of the vertical lift, I would love to see it.

Completely agree. The enthusiast in me wants to see a Gertslauer invert as it would be a first and by default, unique. But my brain says that, without question or doubt, the Vekoma is the only one that makes sense for the park. Regardless, what the park is doing by asking the input of the GP must be appraised to the max.

The gerstlauer looks like the ice breaker of inverts. It's being called a family coaster but it looks rather intense. Personally I wouldn't get the premier, and would likely choose the vekoma over the gerstlauer

The Gerstlauer is the one I'd personally want to ride. The Vekoma is the one I could actually get my family to ride. So if they're looking for a family coaster, the Vekoma is probably the one.

As Slagharen is my homepark, I'd like to see a world unique coaster! So, I really want to see the Gerstlauer one! But as I said, It's my homepark, so I'm happy to see they are getting a new coaster, and I don't really care! The Netherlands doesn't have the strongest collection. What makes it a great place to live (for coasters) is Untamed, and the fact that it's right next to Germany!

I personally think the Gerstlauer one is the best of the 3, but I think that's my enthusiast brain talking. If we're going with a family ride, the Vekoma one is definitely more tame, but also in line with their family rides, even if it contains a launch. Bet 60% chance Vekoma, 30% chance Gerstlauer, 10% Premier.

gerstlauer since the vertical lift hill is fantastic for marketing as far as i know its a WORLDS FIRST which parks love, also they already have a family coaster and an extreme coaster so a coaster that fits in between the others in terms of intensity would be great for the park

The gerstlauer almost not being a family coaster is what sells it to me. Since the park doesn’t have many coasters the troll seeker will still hop on line for this one why also giving a stepping stone for younger riders.

I'll go against the grain and say the Gerstlauer probably makes the most sense for the park. With the mine train, they already have a "true family coaster"; what they need is something in between that and the Infinity coaster they've got, something that's thrilling but less intense than than Gold Rush, and the Gerstlauer does that better than the other two from the looks of this.

Slagharen is about an hour away from me, they're usually a really quiet park, not alot of people, but they're open all year round. Personally I think the Gerstlauer looks by far the most interesting ride to me. But honestly, Premier almost never does rides in Europe (they only have 3 coasters here I believe, of which two in Finland and one in Germany), so that would be really awesome and groundbreaking to see here. Gold Rush barely goes backwards so I don't really think that's a valid argument to make against a boomerang. Wildlands Adventurezoo, which isn't even 30 minutes away from Slagharen does have Tweestryd a duelling vekoma family boomerang, though. I personally think the Vekoma inverted would be the best fit for the park (even though Gold Rush is already launched aswell). But I am really really hoping for the Gerstlauer design.

I hope, they go for the Gerstlauer. It’s a cool unique concept and layout - probably suitable starting at a around 1,20m tall riders - if the seats are designed well and the TUV approves it. It surely pushes the boundaries for a family coaster, but this is cool and gets more common (see ice breaker). Still, I guess the coaster could be ridden by a 5 yr old, if the g-forces aren’t too intense and the seats are crafted good. The question probably would be, if Gerstlauer can really build this coaster running smoothly and reliably with seats that comfortably fit for small kids up to XXL Bud Spencer passengers. Vekoma surely can. Their SFCs and STCs are smooth and the seats fit for every size. So I basically would choose the Gerstlauer model - but maybe they should build it in collaboration with Vekoma - if somehow possible. Then the result probably would be amazing 🤩

Slagharen is the closest amusement park to where I live... It's a nice little park with only 2 roller coasters, so any roller coaster is welcome! Some years I have an annual pass, which also gives me acces to Moviepark Germany, Belantis, Bobbejaanland and Parque Warner Madrid... I hope they go for the Gerstlauer inverted roller coaster, because I haven't ridden it yet ;-)

For a park like this that Vekoma is going to be the best choice. Yes something 100% unique can bring people in - but these types of firsts can also be headaches in more than one way. The Vekoma has a distinct benefit in being built using technology Vekoma already uses with trains they already make on track they already fabricate for this exact use case - oh and they have a proven reliability track record on all of the above too. If the park desires a bit more thrill like Gerstlauer 's entry they can definitely request a bit more - since nothing is currently set in stone. The trains can take it, they use the same ones on the STCs. Edit: That said Gerstlauer's is a great choice too - the only new thing there is adding a vertical lift to their existing suspended coaster option. It'd be next in line. I see no reason for them to consider the Premier option - way too much risk.

The Premier design could use a turntable system like the MACK Powersplash model to run 2 trains. I'd say that if they don't use comfort collars, this could be the best as a family coaster. And if it's good, Premier might build more of them in other parks. For me personally, I'd love to see the Gerstlauer.

I think both the Gerstlauer and the Vekoma one are good fits for the park. The former has at first glance more unique features going for it, which could be useful in promoting the park to a wider audience. The latter would be a safe bet at pleasing their current main demographic. I also think that having both Gestlauer and Vekoma based in Europe makes maintenance issues easier to handle, which could be a factor for a smaller park.

I would want anything you can fit in an indoor warehouse. That way the coaster will last longer because of not being outside. It can also be themed and that’s where this ride would stand out

The Vekoma one looks a tad mild and may have a bit too much overlap with Mine train in terms of audience. With me basically growing up in this park, before I moved to the US. I would give my vote to Vekoma. With it being a launched suspended coaster it allows smaller guests to Slagharen to experience a launch, for those not old enough for Gold Rush. If only they could add a overbanked turn and dive under like as Dragonflier at Dollywood for their "grand finale" that would be.

The Vekoma version would be the safest, and it would really help diversify the park’s collection of coasters. Rides that are a first of their kind would be hard to incorporate into a smaller park. However, if they wanted to take a risky move, the premier rides attraction would be a different option to any other ride in the world.

Gerstlauer is the best for me.. It a really good coaster between gold rush and their vekoma junior. The premier also looks solid and really unique What I like about these 2 is that is that you can market them so well and make everyone hyped. The vekoma looks good but is pretty tame, I would like to see one of the otehrs for that between gold rush and mine train coaster. ALso the vekoma doesn't feel that unique, yes it has a launch but it's only for a very short section.

The Vekoma will have great reliability, and is probably a slightly better fit for the park. The Premier one looks weird at best, and they'd definitely ruin it with bad restraints.
