Woww that's great, when God reveals the person to you don't force it, allow God to bring it to pass. This is exactly my experience. Though it tarried but at last it came to pass. I give all glory to Jesus. Please I encourage all our single brothers and sisters to be patience and be focused, keep working on yourself while waiting for the season of the fulfilment of God's promises for you. Not just in marriage but in all things don't force the will of God allow it to mature and you be glad you waited patiently and prayerfully. Great talk. However, I am not in total agreement with one of the answers given, about having the free will to go against a revelation God gave because the person revealed is doing things that are not right. I think it is better that the person goes back to God for a reconfirming or for a clarification. God's ways are higher than our ways and I don't think any man's free will is wiser than God's Word. So if TRULY God gave a Word, then go back to Him and do not trust in your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). It is important we examine every revelation or prophecy with the Word of God. James 1:13-15 says God is never tempted to do wrong and He never tempts anyone; that it is usually our desires that bring about temptations. The point I am making here is that God will not lead you to someone who is not the best for you. However, peradventure He led you to someone, and the person changed, it is important you go back to God and let Him give you the next directive. Let God's will be your will. However, this can only come from a place a deep intimacy with the Holy Spirit. The prophet Hosea comes to mind. I believe he chose revelation above his free will in his choice of whom to marry. So if you truly heard from God, and with all conviction God led you to someone, please hold on to God's Word and do His will.

When your 'the one' as revealed is not confirming to the revelation you received, then you have to go back to GOD, HE is Omniscient and nothing surprises HIM, did you wait for GOD to finish HIS work before you made your move, the other person has a will and has to conform to GOD’S pruning too, it that does not happen please Pulse and wait on GOD till you hear _Hosea 4:17 - Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone!

Hey TED I felt like adding something. Well, remember singing Gospel is Ministry, singing secular is business. So if she is honestly singing for business purpose, it is not Gospel at all.
