I think I was somewhere between middle school and high school when this series started. When I first saw this I nearly bursted out crying at the sight of the SFM Freddy I haven't seen that model in a while. I'm proud of Scotty C. of making a series that lasted this long.

Wasn’t that GMOD? Or is that the same model.
@Jar-J4r2 ай бұрын
Btw the Old Freddy Model is the GMOD model used in many animations during the first few games, apparently the Springtrap Model used in this segment is also the GMOD model.

I've been in the fnaf community for more than half my life now, and it still makes me so happy, this is probably one of the franchises that feeds the Fandom the most and as a result we have masterpieces like this

God, I feel old. I was 34 when this came out. I used to ignore the games until someone got me hooked on the lore, and I started watching different theories, MatPat was the first. Then I started playing the games. Anyway, I enjoyed the reaction. This video brought me to your channel. I think I'll enjoy checking out the rest of your stuff.

buddy you aren't alone i still remember when arcades were on like every other corner then the first [popular] home console came out, atari [yes magna vox was technically first, but it wasn't that popular.] atari was the first one that sold like hotcakes, then Nintendo and Sega said "hold my sake" and turned things up to 100, and gaming has grown so large now it out gains hollywood and the film industry. like its wild how fast the growth was, the only reason i got into fnaf was because i watched matpat who used to talk about my favorite games like sonic and mario.

@AlphaSorrow My family had an Atari with the case full of a lot of games. I miss that thing. Not sure how I'd hook it up now. My brother took it when he moved out. I remember saving up to get a second hand NES. I had a lot of classic games.

I had no idea MatPat could sing! He smashed it :D Can’t believe it’s been 10 years man. I remember watching let’s plays of the first couple games when they first released. I was only 9 then, now I’m 19 going on 20 pretty soon. It’s crazy!

I've heard him sing in other songs and I was aware of his theatre background ^^ Also yeah, it's wild knowing that FNAF is 10 years old, haha

Bro, I was in HIGHSCHOOL. Ugh. This song is great. It really is a great tribute to a franchise that was hugely influential and still majorly beloved, even despite its flaws. I wasn't ever really a fan since horror terrifies me, but I followed it lightly and laughed it off as child stuff, but actually started getting into the lore around 3. Even began anticipating games, was infuriated at the treatment of Scott, and was dismayed at the release of Security Breach. Maybe I am a fan lmao. But yeah, love the song and video, definitely made me tear up watching it. SO much history being celebrated.

@3:31 this part is a reference to a fnaf song [i can't remember the name of the orginal but it was about springtrap] literally everyone uses it from dawko to coda, its pretty famous as getting alot of people into fnaf. its almost as old as fnaf. sad to say my old age has caught up with me and i don't [or maybe cant is a better term] remember the name of it.

if you figure it out please let me know as i'd like to watch it again.

@6:20 it has its fair share of problems, but you can tell the people behind it care about this series especially scott. with so many many games now and days who stopped caring like pokemon, or soulless cash grabs like wow, minecraft, doom or warhammer, its nice to see people behind steel wool and the original still care about the games they make. [even if the first outing was a bit.....flawed with fnaf sb i still look forward to the next game they are gunna make.]

its hard to believe we went from slenderman copys and exe clones to a game like fnaf. i still remember when the first fan game came out on gamejolt.

I remember joining the fandom around FNaF 3, when someone told me about this game with lots of cool character, like a green pirate fox (they were talking about Phantom Foxy. I remember visualising him completely differently). I still think it wasn't so long ago. Like the release of the first novel (the one with the old cover. I still have both versions), still feels relatively new! 3-4 years tops! :D Nope. Security Breach is almost 3 years old already. The 10 year anniversary snuck up on me tbh.

I really enjoyed your reaction and commentary. It feels crazy that FNAF is a decade old. I remember watching Markiplier and MatPat play every new release. While I have moved on, I agree with your point that what matters most is that the franchise has and continues to have a positive impact on people. Once again, thanks for your reaction.

Very nice reaction to an amazing anniversary video. I've watched a fair few reactions to CG5's song. They mostly reacted to the music (which is admittedly banging), but really gave off a newer/lighter fan vibe that I found disappointing given how much love for the history of FNaF was clearly poured into this video -- even I can see that, and I've never played a FNaF game in my life. I knew you were a real one when you 1) recognized the SFM model, 2) laughed at the 'nose honk' sound effect 😉 , and 3) truly appreciated that shot of Glamrock Freddy escorting OG Freddy to his party. I got the feeling that you got on how many levels that moment was meaningful -- since, like Freddy, the franchise has been through some sh.... stuff -- but we made it through well enough to have a party, we old and we new. It was very satisfying to see a reaction that shared the emotion on a bit more than a superficial level 🙂. Thanks!👍🏾 P.S. Good on you for being one of the extremely few to guess MatPat's vocals even before the hint 😉😄
