I tried to find out what he’s up to at the moment, but unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be any up to date info on him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He was staying in Vientiane, Laos, when I was there between 2019 and 2024. He had had serious health problems and lost all his money too. I'm not sure how he was surviving. I lost contact with him from around late 2022 I believe it was, as he didn't have internet access and I wasn't often near the little hotel he lived at. I did attend a birthday party they gave him at that hotel, but haven't seen him since. He may still be there, or moved on, or died. He was always kind to me.

True buddhist vipassana is based on seeing arising and vanishing of five aggregates .This is called Udayawaya wishdom .Whenever you get a signal through five sense organs you can see a light appears in the middle of the forehead and vanishishes instantly This is called Udayawaya wishdom .Without seeing arising and vanishing or udayawaya you can not go further in vipassana meditation .Seeing arising ot present signals is" udaya" and seeing vanishing of present dhammas is "vaya".(Kuddaka Ni patisambhida magga niddeso ).Lord Samyak Sambuddha describes this natural phenomena very scientifically and simply in kuddaka nikaya patisambhida magga .

He was expelled due to many violation of monk rules, sneaking at night to live night life, drinking wine, …… this happen when monk is spoiled by his students. After all, he has become like normal human being. He teach his last lesson. His student keep quiet to not provoke the social.

@@sylavanusHe was sent abroad since early 2020, probably Vietnam or Burma. Don’t know where he is now. If you want to hold on to something, it is teachings not person. His disciple know too well the whole story, I was one of his. It was a tragic to many faithful ones but it teach a very valuable lesson. He must be very sick now, he had heart attack (survive) then evident was found in this Guti.

@@TruthMatters9674don’t think he was faking all along but when you are alone, a lot can happen. And once he got too much sponsor, thing got worst. I am not joking.
