I'm glad it's pissing you off. It's important to know the facts and see how tragic the government policies are. Happy to follow your journey to the TRUTH! 😊

I'm from the UK and I have health issues, and my husband is a transplant patient and is diabetic. We have never paid a penny for our treatments or surgeries because we have the NHS. If we lived in the USA we would both be dead.

Along similar lines but more focused on employment, you should check out "America Compared: Why other countries treat their people so much better". There's also a few different vids under the title "Americans living abroad: First time you realised America really messed you up" from various channels that give some interesting insights into what different Americans have experienced and realised wasn't quite right after they left the USA and spend some time in another country that you might find interesting.

I'm glad to hear you say you're pissed off, because it's heartbreaking how harsh the realities are for my American cousins. That said, I'm happy to see many Americans, like yourself, who are educating themselves about how it's done outside the US. The more people Americans realize they've been lied to, the greater the chance they can do better.

The National Health Service in the UK is totally non profit…The average Brit pays around the equivalent of $1800 a year out of their taxes into the National Health Service…this payment means that everything is then free at point of use.No fees to see a doctor,no fees for ambulances,no fees for ER visit,no fees for operations,no fees for Physiotherapy,no fees for scans,X-rays etc,no fees for anything except for medication and that’s a fixed cost regardless of the drug…£9.50 per prescription.If you’re under 18,unemployed,in school or over 65 all the medication is free as well.If you’re a diabetic all your insulin is free…for life.If you need ongoing medication then you can pay £109 prescription fee for the years worth of drugs.There are no such things as Co pays,pre-existing conditions,deductibles etc…the $1800 that you pay from your taxes yearly is the only thing that you pay for all this free at point of service care…not too bad if you ask me.

I think one of the major issues Americans have with our healthcare system is they think a social healthcare is the word social. They confuse Socialism with Communism. Our taxes that are paid into healthcare is pretty much like health insurance, minus the gouging and having to worry what is covered by whom it's just a streamlined version without the worrying. Call it Medical Tax if you don't like the term social healthcare, cut out the admin and drug companies inflating prices and let everyone have the right to be healthy :)

Well speaking as an Aussie I have a few things to say. In Australia our minimum wage is twice as much as the American one and most people can live quite comfortably on it. Most Aussies don't have to deal with Uni (College) Dept. Our Employers value experience over having a degree. Unless you want to be a Doctor or a Lawyer etc. Most Aussies go for an Apprenticeship or take a course at T.A.F.E (Community College). Everyone gets at least 4 weeks Paid Vacation Leave. If you get sick you can have up to10 Paid Days Off. If something happens and you need some days off, the boss will usually give it to you with Pay. If a Couple has a Baby Both Parents get at least a month of Paid Parental Leave. The Government will also give parents a Grant to buy whatever the Baby needs. Our Food Quality is also better. Genetically Modified Foods are illegal and Aussie Consumers won't put up with all of those Chemical Fillers in their food. Companies have to severely limit the Chemical Additives they use or go Bankrupt. Wherever possible we use Natural Colours and Flavours.

All true, however we're starting to head down the road of Americanisation. Stagnant wages have been a thing for the past 10 years; medicare is quietly being cut and we have to pay for a lot of things we never had to before such as MRI scans, knee replacement surgery and a laundry list of medications are no longer on the PBS - although still much cheaper than in the USA you don't want to be unemployed or on a pension and need those things anymore!. Underemployment, casual and part time workers are far more common than ever before whilst full time jobs are less common than ever before. The housing market is absurd now and full off money laundering and corruption and scandals... we're still a long way from being as far up the same shi* creek as the USA, but we're paddling towards it at top speed.

US has the biggest external debt by far of any nation on the planet - around 30 trillion dollars, which is about 133% of its GDP! Hardly - as is often repeated, the richest country. In fact, by debt to GDP ratio the 13th poorest nation globally.

Great video mate 🫡 just thought of a video that you might like. There’s a bloke on KZbin called Evan Edenger (I think 🤔) he’s an American who has been living in the UK for the last 10 years and he does good videos that you might want to look at I always found the one most interesting about how America is one of only 3 countries that still make their citizens pay tax even if they are no longer living in America

I always feel so sorry for the americans as I am from Europe! Everything over here has much more quality, but is cheaper ... so kind of "unfair" that you make $22 an hour working a "low-skill-job" at McDonalds in Denmark, for example ... and even when you are unemployed you don't have to sleep on the street as the goverment takes care of you! Be sure they'll pay your bills (like rent and healhtcare, etc.) and give you extra money on top for living! Sounds unreal, but's common! Think about that, please ... also that school/education is free, if you know what I mean! :-)

Why don't school teachers show KZbin videos like this to school children of all ages? Would they be fired for telling truths or maybe put up against a wall and shot. Why don't parents educate their own children by home schooling if their education system is so bad. I mean World Geography is completely unknown in the good old USA & has been since before the great depression if Helene Hanff's writings are anything to go by. (HH was a self educated writer)

Why not buy Canadian insulin, and sell it for a great profit, while keeping it more affordable that in the US?
@BarbNordman
@BarbNordman 3 ай бұрын
Or better yet just sell it to them at your cost. I find it interesting your mind went immediately to how you could make a profit. Still viewing healthcare as a business for profit I guess. That makes me sad.

I'm sorry for the shitty situation in your country, but REALLY happy it pisses you off! I'm watching plenty of reaction videos to this and I am THRILLED at how almost everyone end up realising you deserve better than this crap. This is the way to change! We didn't get our rights and wellfare in Europe by being silent and good workers. Nope. Past generations rose and demanded change, they got political, demanded rights and fair treatments and while I really hate how you are treated and how so many of you have been ingrained to think this is the best deal, it fills me with hope to see all of you people realising you shouldn't have to live like this.

All tho hes getting almost every single data point correct here, he got the most Important thing absolutely axx backwards. Europe isnt socialist. Not even scandenavia is socialist. Not *single country in europe* is socialist. We ARE all capitalist countries. He have *socialist POLICY* underlying a framework built on capitalist foundations. All these policies are 100% depends t on capitalism, without it the would crumble to dust. David is a smart but very, very confused guy. Capitalism and communist is not a zero sum game. Its not a black or white situation. Its a sliding scale. If The USSRs communism was -100 and American capitalism is +100 europe is between +20 and +50 depending on what country you look at. But not one singel country is in the socialist side. Europe is capitalist. Its just that America is HYPER-capitalist. Sweden has one of the highest per capita density of millionairs on the planet. You think that would even be possible in a socialist country?
