I thought the 2/5 games were fairly typical tbh. It's a little tough to get a firm grasp of what the games are like during a WPT event because people travel in for the games. So the temperature of the games is likely not the same as when there is no event on.

Basically dollars are the currency there. They have no coins so sums less than dollar (seems like now more like less than $5) are given in Riels, their local currency, which you pretty much only need for cents... and paying the gas bill. For example salaries are nominated in dollars.

Jet lag is a thing sir. I agree you are just tired but it has to do with adjusting to time change. For instance I fly from SF to NY on Sunday for an 8am Monday meeting. I leave SF a 10am, lay over LA and arrive in NY at 10pm. I should go to bed but it's only 7pm my time. Now I can't fall asleep until 2am get only 5 hrs sleep before rushing to make the meeting. That's jet lag. Lag refers to time change. Hope that helps because it is real. Takes 2-3 days for a typical person to adjust, sometimes longer if it's a radical time change. The flaw is in the name "jet lag". It should be time change lag, has little to do with jets other than that being our only means of travel that can cause the lag to happen.

I spent a month in Cambodia. By far my least "favorable" country of my world travels. Even with visa in hand I still had to bribe the customs officers just to get in. Almost 30% of the US currency I exchanged there was counterfeit, and of course their currency isn't accepted anywhere else. Ended up just giving it away when I left. Every other traveler I met there was robbed at some point during their stay. Usually their phone, by scooter gangs that just pull up, rob you and take off. Only good thing was the 50 cent packs of cigarettes and beers. Didn't play poker there since there are organized rings of poker cheaters in most of the casinos. Cheers!
