He is the best vocalist ever! How many can sing opera, rock and roll, hard rock, ballads, show tunes, etc.?? And sing all fantastically!! And I bet he can even sing country😳 if he wanted.

Recorded 3 or 4 days after his Father's Death.. he didn't live long enough to see his Son make a go of life, Dan sings this beautifully.. I couldn't even speak for days after losing my parents.

This one gets to me every time I watch it. Imagine singing the words "So hush little baby, don't you cry. You know your daddy's bound to die." --- just days after your own father's death. Dan's father was a huge Elvis fan, and this was one of his dad's favorites.

Dan's dedicated this to his father and singing it five days after he passed away. That was seven to eight years ago now. It was one of his father's favorite songs. It's extremely sensitive and very heartfelt. Thank you soo much and yes thats sweet young Dan of yesteryear ❣️⚘️

Thank you for your continued support and wonderful reaction to this cover by Dan. It makes me sad every time I see this cover. But that's life. Everyone has to say goodbye to this earth sometime, whether they want to or not. A short time later, Dan received a message from Anne and Robert. Dan made the Elvis Presley song "Love me Tender" for them. It's beautiful to see. Maybe you'd like to respond to it too. Thanks for sharing.....

This performance breaks my heart but also makes me so proud of Dan. This photo of Dan as a young child is like a promise and his performance here, the fulfillment of that promise. Нет !Так мощно ,с величием ,с торжеством исполнять эту песню мог только Великий Элвис Пресли.Элвис пел в живую ,с живым оркестром ,он исполнял все песни с душой отдавая всего себя !Даже самое плохое исполнение песни Элвисом ,всегда слушается с мурашками и с комом в горле .Бархатный баритон с переливами,три октавы диапазон голоса ,так не повторит никто!Элвис -это культурное наследие и достояние Америки.Ценю его творчество.У нас в России много фан клубов Пресли.Только жаль ,что Присцилла Болье прикрывая свои похождения и алчность ,очерняет историю про Элвиса гнусными фильмами и лживыми книгами.Это неприемлемо.Ведь будущее поколение не будет ковыряться дотошно в биографии Пресли .Они по интернету пробивают ,а там всегда сказки про страдалицу Болье и её дешевые фильмы.Жаль. Светлая память гениальному Артисту ,пусть его щедрая и добрая душа покоится в Раю!!Вам спасибо за видео!🙏

Aber wie viele junge Menschen kennen diese grossartigen Künstler noch aus den 70er und 80er Jahren? 🤔 was ich an Dan Vasc mit seiner grossartigen und einzigartigen Stimme und Ennergie so liebe: seine Hochachtung gegenüber dem original Künstler/in von denen er ein cover singt 👏💯 Dan ehällt wunderbare alte Songs( oft auf seine ganz eigene Art 🙌 ❤️🔥) am Leben die drohen in vergessenheit zu geraten! ich finde das wunderbar 👏 liebe Grüsse 🥰

Dan does not lip-sync, if that's what you're implying. He does multiple live takes and picks from the ones that he likes best for the purpose of his videos. The technology that exists today wasn't even heard of back when Elvis was alive and I assure you, if it was, he and his producers would have taken full advantage of it in the same way that today's artists do. Dan also has a 4 octave range, as do many great artists, so as wonderfully talented as Elvis was, his range was not unique. There are many singers on KZbin who have an even higher vocal range, like Dimash Kudaibergen from Kazakhstan who has what the experts say is an 8 or 9 octave range. It's commendable that you have such admiration and respect for Elvis and he will certainly live forever in the hearts, minds and ears of many generations to come, but to say that there's nobody who can sing as well as he did, is not factual and is based solely on personal bias. For Dan to have been able to sing this song as well as he did, while fighting back intense emotion and tears, is an incredible accomplishment. I'm not sure if you've had any professional vocal training, but it's extremely difficult to sing while you're crying. The muscles and tendons used in singing and crying, directly compete with each other, so his ability to perform this as beautifully as he did under those conditions, makes this a very, very powerful rendition of this song.
