Yes! If you want them really even and clean definitely consider getting them done professionally. Mine were part of a dedication period to learn with Lord Shiva so I did them myself. If you have to shop around for a good loctician, I recommend Instagram so you can search your area and see examples of their work!

I’m going through the process myself right now, and if I can offer a word of advice, it would be to bring pictures of exactly what you want when you go in for a consultation. Might seem obvious to most, but I didn’t and wound up taking mine out and having them redone with another loctitian because I didn’t like how they were put in.
