If we actually start accepting that we've been gifted 24hours at a time and accept every day is the last 24 hours of our life our productivity seriously changes. Since last 10 days of Ramzan I've been practicing this and MA im making more progress in the last few months then I have ever made in last 23 years. I'm making every hour worthwhile and the blessings I'm noticing by just constantly doing zikr of Allah it's more rewarding then any materialistic accomplishment. May Allah keep US ALL on the right path and may we be successfull with our Ummah love you brothers for ♾ 1 ❤ >>

If you read this verse 31-6 in ARABIC you will know ALLAH used the words LAHWAL HADITH meaning baseless HADITH but your SUNNIE English translation has translated the two words has amusement of speech to avoid making your man made HADITH look bad. I’m not Muslim . But I agree with what Hijab said about gratitude. If you aren’t grateful to the one who created you and life and the universe. Then being grateful to other humans isn’t going to sustain you emotionally in times of crisis. God is always there. Humans are not. This belief that we have to be grateful even when we feel depressed or mentally unwell will not sustain us . Unless we are grateful for the essence of existence itself.

@@rogersmith6813 Reading random books is not a good advice whatsoever. It needs to be beneficial and the reader needs to be aware beforehand what benefit he might recieve from it.

Than you for bringing me along with you guys on your journey. Been a true blessing. Discovered the Hyde park debates, initially motivated by the dominance of Islam but now sustained by the truthfulness of it, I love all your discussions. All of them reinforce things that I know and build upon my existing knowledge. May Allah preserve u lot and increase His blessings upon all of us, Ameen !

Probably the best hadith you ever hear 🤯 Aws bin Aws narrated: Allah's Messenger said to me: "Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he take the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer). At-Tirmidhi (496) *Sahih hadith*
