I am very proud to "know" this man. He is unique and actually talented. I wouldnt want him to change at all. I enjoy him and have developed Brotherly feelings for him. I got involved in SW radio at age 15 when my mom took me to a yard sale and I saw this big, heavy Halicrafters and I asked what it was and she explained it. It is simply fascinating to listen all over the world.

This guy right here is a symbol of perseverance. He's been dropping these reviews on us for years. Lived through the Tosh .O days of getting relentlessly trolled. He's actually surpassed his meme status and become a legitimate reviewer of fast food and stuff. I'm glad that you can go to his new vids and see an overwhelming amount of support from people who actually support him and like him. People look forward to his videos and his opinions. @ryancoke74095 жыл бұрын
Note to self: When apologizing - 1. Carefully review the situation 2. Decide if you aren't happy with your actions or words. 3. Isolate and understand what it was you might have done wrong. 4. Decide whether an apology is in order. 5. Apologize without making excuses and describe all steps you went through 1-5. 6. Expect nothing in return for apology except retaining a feeling of integrity and standing by your own conviction, taking full responsibility for your actions. Do not waver and do not grovel. God, do I even have this kind of strength and fortitude? Can't I just blame it on someone or make excuses why I HAD to do it? No. The reviewbrah inside me says, no.

It's so god damn cringe when people talk out of their ass just to make themselves feel better. ...The comment was to him, in regards to where he's come since this video was posted and the milestone he recently achieved. It was a minimally creative way of complimenting the guy. It wasn't intended for your input, yet keyboard kitties like yourself feed off of detached confrontation, so you had to come up with some sort of smart ass response to give yourself a personal moral boost for 3 seconds. Allow me to paint a picture. 3 buddies are laughing and joking, then jackass #4 comes in half way through the conversation and starts tearing down what people say, leaving the rest of the group in awe, wondering where that happiness had gone, it was there just a second ago....but not anymore. The jackass stands there, feeling personally accomplished, thinking he made an impact in this situation, voiced his mind, which he though was very very clever, and that's all that matters. Those other people HATE that guy...they always will, those types of people are disgusting, They can't take a joke, they can't let others enjoy themselves, they can't be happy for someone, they can't contribute to society in a helpful manner....they are just the embarrassments. YOU....are that type of person. KILL.YOUR.SELF.

People have thin skin. I don’t have a dog in the short wave fight, but if I didn’t want to watch it, there are millions of videos to watch and when you make one that I am interested in I watch. People need to not be so self centered. If it interests you, do it.

Touching video and really kind of you to take your time to apologize but in a way you're still right, people aren't eager to learn and in a way they shouldn't be upset or mad about that if they know they don't want to learn. Just keep doing what you do best, making great reviews and educational videos.

Dude you can chill out. I've been your subscriber for fucking ever, before you went big. I think you need to accept that the larger a youtube channel gets, the more drastic the ups and downs feel. Lets assume in any group there are 10% of people who don't like a thing. If you have 100 subscribers, and 10% of them don't like certain content and unsub, it sucks but at the end of the day it's only 10 people. Now if you have 100, 000 subscribers and lose 10% that's 10,000 subs. What's 'popular' on youtube changes constantly. What costs you subscribers in one month could gain you subs the month after. Some people are going to complain they want more variety, and others will complain they want some specific content only. To continue discussing percentages- Again, getting shitty inbox letters is just a part of having a youtube channel. Let's be extremely generous and say only 0.1% send you discouraging messages. If you have 100 subs thats less than one message. But at 100,000 that's 100 shitty messages. And no matter the ratio of good:bad messages, the bad messages are always going to hurt, and they're never going to go away. You're not doing anything wrong. This is your channel. Viewer's tastes are capricious and out of your control. You CAN control your actions, and your channel. Make the content you want to make. If you stop making videos you want to make because your viewers aren't into it, you're going to kill any joy you had making this channel. My recommendations? 1) Give yourself a fucking break. 2) Accept this is a part of being a big channel. 3) Either stop reading inbox messages, or have someone else read them for you (seriously. most bigger youtubers won't even read their messages because people are so shitty.) 4) Make a second channel. Again, tons of youtubers have a side-channel. Make a channel for your lectures. People who like lectures get that content, while those who don't get only your reviews. 5) Give yourself a fucking break.

Wrath of Vaughn LOL shit to be completely fair who the fuck else would be going back through his videos for two years? I had been looking for a story he'd told a long time back and wasn't even thinking when I watched the vid, just felt bad hearing him talk about himself like this so I posted on impulse. My bad.

We actually don't deserve him. It also makes me sad that a good amount of people were trolling him, making him feel so poorly about what he did. He probably beat himself up over this for weeks, if not months. Probably still thinking about this from time to time, even now. People can be such assholes. Reviewbruh, you're the best and I'm glad you never gave up what you love. :) Love you, man!!

Report of the Week, you have no need to apologize. You did nothing wrong, and you seem like a very nice and sincere young man. I am a new subscriber and fan of your show. You have very entertaining reviews, you dress very originally and nice, and seem like an overall very nice and intelligent person. Short wave radio is very interesting and intriguing by the way. Keep it up and don't listen to the negativity! I love your page, and my wife and friends are also new fans of yours!

I absolutely love this kid to no end. I DO hope he’s learned to be able to weave thru the haters and delete them, without allowing it to effect him. He’s too receptive and sweet to let that hang on him. I really do pray he’s able to ditch all haters. He’s managed to stay the sweet kid who he began as and it’s rare we get to see people not change after so long- but he’s STILL his genuine self. DON’T EVER CHANGE NEWSBRAH 😘

This is really a fascinating look so early in your career about how you discovered how much of an effect on your channel and your mental health you have as a creator when KZbin's algorithm really pushes you to "stay in your lane" or else. Clearly you've learned from these experiences but I know deep down it cuts to your core that even to this day there's probably stuff you wish you could say and do but you "can't". You did good.

It was nice of you to apologize. I remember feeling kind of offended when you said those things-- but you're way too hard on yourself here. You made a mistake, that's okay! You can apologize without beating yourself up. That said, you did bounce back really quickly, and you seem reinvigorated in your next video, so that's cool!

+FrostuR I understand your question, and I definitely wondered the same thing when my friend showed me this channel. But I watched enough videos to get to know him, and I came to believe that he's truly funny and genuine; and combined with the fact that he's such a unique person (his way of speaking, his interests, his humor, etc), I was really charmed. It's not for everybody I guess, but if you put in the time then you might find you like his videos too.

@abyss Are you going to apologize for negatively stereotyping an entire generation just to feed your already (obviously) self-satisfied ego? Because you should, especially since you're getting on your soapbox about it out of nowhere. Some would call that trolling.

mercurydude: you're right. I need to apologize to millennials on this platform who've apologized _sincerely_ ...certainly they exist, and it was short-sighted of me to make such a sweeping generalization. I'm sorry I disparaged the *upright* millennials who take _real_ ownership of their mistakes :)

Don't let strangers dictate what you do. You have thousands and thousands of viewers who like and appreciate who you are - and what you do. Don't let the critics discourage you.
