Its 3.2 v6 236 bhp is perfectly fine.. you comparing it to the honda 2.0 4 cylinder 198bhp. R32 got lots more torque and feels immensely grunty and punchy from lower revs.. also feels much superior then the honda.

Konig seats bro. I have a Mk4 r32 with cams head work full exhaust I'm happy. It's in great shape, new Trans with 2ook on the ticker, it feels new. The seats don't need harness holes if your at a respectable 200bhp.

Wheels were either OZ or Ronal, my 2004 car had Ronal wheels, slightest of differences in them but not a lot to the untrained eye. Honda were getting 197bhp from 2.0 litres with the EP3 Type R. They got 237bhp from the S2000. Ariel managed 270bhp from a Honda 2.0 engine in the Atom Mugen. No 237bhp from a 3.2 V6 wasn't very good. BMW achieved 321bhp with the 3.2 M3. Alfa Romeo achieved 260bhp with the Busso V6. Bear in mind that the R32 has much more torque than an S2000 Honda. However the Honda is much lighter.
@a2jettagli Жыл бұрын
And now let's discuss a Hondas Powerband 🧐
@jimmyfarley5581 Жыл бұрын
True but its all relative. The R32 with its big 6 cylinder engine, four wheel drive, double clutch gearbox and comfortable leather interior was considerably heavier than the type R of the time. Lots of low end torque and shove but top end was breathless. For a blat on a deserted B Road I'd choose the Honda all day long
@sajidqureshi217511 ай бұрын
Yes agreed.. but the r32 didn't need really more bhp bcuz compared to it rivals at time its had the most bhp and torque. Yea the 147gta had 250 but less torque no 4wd so not really planted. I used to have a ep3 type r and nw I have a MK4 R32 for 8 years and the R32 feels superior lots of low down grunt feels punchy and sounds ruthless I have miltek cat back.. my mates got 225bhp mk1 s3 and r32 feels more special then both type r and s3.. also r32 is much more expensive to buy then both.. the inside and out of R32 is special
@sajidqureshi217511 ай бұрын
@jimmyfarley5581 ok agreed but I have a MK4 R32 for 8 years and also had a ep3 type r before.. type r I got bored to the thrashing nature to get the car to perform.. and even then it had no grunt bcuz of weak low torque.. R32 feels grunt and punchy low down and even at higher rpm which you hardly even need to the nature of the beast.. R32 FEELS SUPERIOR to ep3 type r no doubt
@jimmyfarley558111 ай бұрын
@@sajidqureshi2175 I agree that an R32 would eat an EP3 for breakfast. I'm being biased because I Supercharged my EP3 with a Rotrex. I'm talking 15 years ago. I spent thousands on it. Coilovers, struts, OZ lightweight wheels, Wavetrac LSD. Stage 2 clutch. Engine mounts, torque damper, 750cc injectors, fuel pump, CAI induction kit, K-PRO ecu etc. Couldn't afford forged internals and wanted reliability. Made 337bhp at 8700rpm and 225 lbs of torque at 5600rpm. I managed an indicated 159mph along the A27 still pulling with 800rpm before redline. I don't mind sending my phone number if you like to share some photos.
