Thank you for posting! I am on the board at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and keeping the memory of Lloyd and his pioneering competitors is my biggest passion. I took it upon myself to clean and restore his headstone on his 100th birthday in 2019. On the 80th anniversary of his death in 21', I worked with the city council on proclaiming September 2nd, as 'Lloyd Seay Day' in Dawsonville. I love to tell people about Lloyd and his cousins....and how there are 7 individuals from Dawsonville that have won at Daytona!

That's awesome! I plan on making a video at the racing hall of fame soon! Racing has deep roots in the North Georgia and as someone who grew up with MANY Nascar fans in the family, I love it.
