What I assume is that he's just immune to the effects of potions/poisons and whatever he eats, because his gut is more of a pocket dimension rather than for food. Probably wouldn't need to eat if he's immortal, so he just stores stuff in himself rather than digest stuff. At least that's what I tell myself when he eats dangerous objects.

You need a green key and posion of gold to turn the key to gold to open this chest.

I thought I saw someone attempt to open that chest outside of the caves and it bugged out and produced nothing. Though on the steam forums I think the devs said that was intended? 😢 just wanted to save you from potential disappointment. Unclear on how it works

I appreciate it, buddy. Always lots of mystery with some of the antics in this game and it definitely keeps me coming back. If I can get a key out at some point, we will definitely attempt this. Though, I wouldn't be shocked if it produces nothing and behaves similar to the lamp when it is removed from the cave. Given the situation I was in, it seemed like the best way to go.

Definitely worth a shot! Looking forward to the continued videos of this game. I haven't played it myself quite yet as my brother and I are addicted to ToME4. Have you tried that game? Would definitely be hours and hours of content 😌 it's a roguelike that's more of a traditional RPG.

@@GoatForceGaming don’t worry goat, the chest only spawn nothing in your house, it still work normally in the pawn shop, but if you get the key again i recommend you sell it first
