Wow different strokes for different folks. I love the music! Loved your videography also. You seem to have a very strong instinct where photography is concerned. There are so many stunning shots in all of your episodes. I'm watching this one for the second time now as there were several interruptions the first time around. But I usually try to watch yours a couple times anyway. Love the path. Every time you guys dig a hole or pound something in I shake my head. It's like you're living on a quagmire and I keep waiting for you to suddenly sink to your knees or wherever. This part of Alaska seems to be like a huge marsh. Thank you again for another wonderful episode. I'll be looking forward to the next one, as usual.

Thank you for such a kind and inspirational comment! I still have a lot to learn about videography and audio, but I think it's improving with every trip and season of episodes. I'm hoping we don't sink into a huge marsh! You are correct, there is a lot of water and wetlands in this part of Alaska. My property sits a few miles back form the large river systems, so we are quite a bit drier than most. Thank you again for watching and the kind words! I'll do my best to keep improving all around quality. Best wishes to you and yours 😁

I found 5 acres for $5000 40 from Deshka Landing. But the location I'm not sure I like.
@OhashiOutdoors5 ай бұрын
We made a trip out to the property before actually purchasing. I turned that into an Alaska family vacation of sorts. It was more expensive, but gave us the piece of mind to know what we were buying. Deshka Landing is a convenient place to launch from, and 40 miles isn't too far on the river with the right craft. I've heard some cabins along the big rivers get broken into sometimes (especially the abandoned property ones). Because of that, and the flooding that is so prone on big rivers in AK, I always look for properties a ways back from the big river on smaller creeks or remote lakes. Happy hunting!
