Honored I get to call this man my father, Captain Antonio “Tony” Navarrete a man whose incredible career as an aviator has left an indelible mark on my life. His journey has been nothing short of extraordinary-a testament to determination, dedication, and an unyielding spirit. Through the most challenging times, my father has shown remarkable persistence, pushing forward with tenacity and courage, never letting obstacles deter him from his goals. His passion for flight has inspired me deeply, not just in my professional life or in my own journey in aviation, but in how I approach every challenge that comes my way. Watching him navigate both the skies and the trials of life with such grace and strength has taught me the true meaning of resilience. I am profoundly grateful for the lessons he’s imparted, and I strive every day to embody the same qualities that have made him such an incredible role model. Thank you, Papa, for being my constant source of inspiration. Your legacy as an aviator and as my father will forever soar in my heart. ✈️ United Airlines #united #friendlyskys #aviation #aviationcareer #latinosinaviation #captain #CaptainTony Denver International Airport - City & County of Denver Dept of Aviation #DIA

What a beautiful story. I don’t know your family personally, but came across this video to witness what an amazing pilot looks like. My heart is full from all the love his family showed for him. Thank you for letting the world share in your happiness. Congratulations to the captain!

That's a brilliant video, Capt Tony comes across as a fantastic bloke with a wonderful family. I know a Triple Seven pilot who retired from BA recently and I asked "what is it like sitting at the end of the runway at Heathrow, pushing the throttles forward knowing it's the last time". He answered "It was as much of an honour as every time I've done it previously". Enjoy your retirement Capt T, from Mark (local airport EGNT)

First off, this was such a wonderful tribute to your father. I am early in my flying career and I can so relate to everything your father mentioned about how difficult and full-filling the journey to becoming a pilot and obtaining that dream job your father had the honor of flying. I am so moved by his story of not only his flying journey but of how his family supported him. I would really like to speak to your father if possible. I am always looking for a fellow latino pilot as a mentor. Please reach out to me directly if I may be cable to be in contact with your father. Once again you did a phenomal tribute to his retirement flight.

I always loved hearing your dad’s stories when he’d visit you in college, and loved that this video had even more! I know it’s belated but- congratulations Captain T on such an impressive and accomplished career in aviation!

Hi everyone, not sure if you remember me but it was super lovely meeting your family and Captain Tony (an honor Sir), at La Loma about a month or so ago. You all were waiting for your table and I was sitting by the fire and we had a nice conversation. I did not forget to look up the video. Well made!! Congratulations, Capt. Tony! What a lovely family you have. God bless you all.

Why is he retiring?
@enava4222 ай бұрын
Hi Antonio! (Nice name and) Thanks for asking. In the United States, the commercial airlines require pilots to retire before their 65th birthday.
