Wouldn’t be able to fit all the sodium from that ramen in this bag 😂 jokes aside, yea this is a premium-priced bag and I’ve considered the value, longevity, and versatility you’d get for that price point. Sad truth is that many reliable, full-featured backpacks these days will start at $200 🥲

Boundary Supply, Patagonia, North Face, Osprey, Bellroy… all cheaper than PD, and while they might not have the same features, I think they all have enough organisation to suit a student (especially considering with the leftover cash you could buy a few pouches for more organised carry). PD are a premium product and I really think suggesting a $250 backpack for students is a bit of a reach when there are other options out there.

just my opinion, but no student should use a camera bag as their daily carry. Leave the camera bag to professional photographers and instead get a north face if you carry a lot of heavy things or herschel if you just carry a laptop and notebook
