This looks cool. While I enjoyed FTL, I also struggled with the real time nature of it so this looks like it might be right up my alley.

There are definitely some significant differences between FTL and Breachway, but I would generally agree that Breachway feels a bit kinder to those (like me) who are into Turn-Based games. :)
