One day i saw a post on fb it was a picture of Hekate i didn't read the comments and i didn't research nothing about her but i really liked this name Hekate. One day later at 3 in the night I couldn't sleep, i was standing in my bed with my eyes closed and idk why but i said Hekate in my mind and after that, a biiig moon appeared in front of my eyes, the moon was so real that i cant explain. It was like i was there in the sky watching the moon face to face lol. Then i opened my eyes and i was like omggg what was that.. then i colse my eyes again and i saw an owl. After that night i research about Hekate and find out that she's represented by the moon.. and by the owl.. i cant believe.

Shes not made out to be evil, but she embodies the shadow self which many people would think of as 'evil' and is why so many people repress it; it's also why shadow work is so important. Without evil there can be no good. Without darkness there cannot be light. Hecate is a goddess who wants us to embrace the shadow self and integrate it into our consciousness and be whole. She isnt just a love and light goddess. She holds the keys to the heavens the seas and the underworld. She is everything. That may be why there may be a more "sinister" feel so other music. Because we embrace the good AND the bad in ourselves and life.

I have recently came to Wicca and learning all I can and I've always liked the moon and stars as they shone through the night sky; and how the moon consistently changes looking at it now that I'm an adult I see that change is necessary(not always comfortable) for us to grow, and thr changes I've been through over the past couple months is Idk what else to call it other then magical, I'm stopping a lot of my bad habits that I had since I was a kid. all in all I'm just a new better version of myself and I'm loving it, I now live when I used to just exist. So thank you for posting I love the song!!

When I was walking after my prom (which sucked btw) I was venting to Hekate and I genuinely felt a comforting presence but when I was about to get jumped by these two men I called out to her and she protected me from them and she protected me on my way home.
