I'll never forget the Avs-Sharks game from early last season when he had something like 50 saves on 51 shots. He was unbelievable. Now he's with us and he has been absolutely incredible!

Flyers goaltending has been a mixed bag. 2 rookies and a guy with 1 full season under his belt. They've run the gamut of bad to excellent and everything in between.

Agreed 100%. The Russians I'm not too sold on, but on a better defensively structured team I do think Ersson can be a very good goalie. But I feel like the defense panicking has let them down more than anything else.

"Desmith has been better than Oettinger" and of course Otter faces the 4th fewest shots as a goalie who likes to see volume, and I'd argue he's being overplayed. Really wish DeSmith got two or three more starts. Otter has been miles better than last year. This sounds confrontational lol, definitely not meant to be. I'm just worried about how hard he's being played. With the way DeBoer has ridden goalies into the ground before, I worry a little.

Wolf has been insane for a rookie on a low tier team... Vladar is a bit better than his numbers look, the team plays like dog water in front of him very consistently... it is a very night and day difference how the team performs based on who is in net. The problem is I've said that about Vladar for a few years now, so at some point something has to give.

Goaltending is the biggest problem for Columbus right now. For every highlight reel save Elvis makes, he'll give up a softie. Sometimes more than one. It's crazy that the Jackets have had games where they've scord five goals and STILL lost.
