You should try these Brussel sprouts my mom makes. First you chop them in like half's or quarters then You have to toss them in olive oil then put some salt and pepper on them and cook bigger chunks for almost 15 minutes (in the air fryer) with smaller chunks for 5 min it comes out as a carmalized it is amazing

My aunt taught me how to cut it. You just need to find “the line” that separate each department then you a smaller knife to start from the stem and run the knife along the line. Then they will pop. This method is from the people who sell durian on the street at my home town. This is a durian season in Vietnam. I miss those a lot. Durian is so expensive in the state. That whole durian you have right there cost maximum $7-8

i learned how to pry the durian open with just my hands. It's my go to method everytime our house buys durian xD It's about the same thing as chopping to find the division lines, but i found out i could just use my fingers to pry the natural seam in the fruit for each pod and just pry it open.

Day 3 of asking Lisa to try this recipe I made: get some toast and spread it with butter. Then add a slice of cheddar cheese 🧀. And as some taki or hot Cheeto crumbs. ( i recommend takis ) and put them in the oven at 180 c for 5-10 mins. I created this hope you see my comment

If you look closely, there are fracture lines that runs from the bottom to top, if you use your fingers to split it where the lines are, it will just follow the fracture like lines, its pretty cool. Also Malaysian durian is better (Musang King)

My mum hates having to pack then throw the rinds out, so her hack was, bring tupperwares along on a durian hunt, choose our durians and sweet talk the seller into helping us open all of them and dump the flesh into the tupperwares, still fresh but less clean up. Durian sellers here are always willing to open them for you, they are experts so it literally take them like a minute or two to get all the flesh out. (I actually don’t eat them but I do like seeing them being opened)

Durian comes from hono ceroko that was moved over to melayu and eventually indonesian and malaysian, durian "duri" "an", duri means thorn, an means like it's thorn like, i know this beacause i'm indonesian myself, durian are very hard to grow and can only be done in the " Khatulistiwa" Just google translate that, i forgot the english word of it, the way lisa's dad is cutting it is right and wrong, you just want to cut tge stem off, cut on the beveled texture, and try to cut without peeling it off and not cut the durian (inside), trust me, it's easier that way

It's a ramen recipe. ~You can take the ramen seasoning packet, some chopped up garlic, sugar, red pepper powder and sesame oil and mix that into a paste. ~Fry your veggies and your dry veggies(one in ramen pack), and after it's done add in your boiled noodles and add in your sauce with a bit of ramen water.
