I love absolutely everything you create. EVERYTHING. I can’t think of one card you have EVER made (thousands) that I don’t love. What I DISLIKE is that I then want to own everything … all the stamps, all the inks, all the watercolors! YIKES. You are amazing, Jill. Truly extraordinary.

I prefer that each card is special and not a copy of my last card. This is one thing that I really appreciate about your process! I have found that doing more than one card at a time is very time sensitive, and your videos show that each card can still be unique and special in its own right! Thank you for helping me to see this, Jill! This is the process I'm planning on using for now on! PS I also love how you color your critters and flowers! Thanks for the inspiration!

I enjoy these videos and find them helpful. They would be more helpful if I could see the whole finished card. do you put your colored critter with the die cut on another paper too or is this the finished card? I need lots of help, thanks.
@PennyBlackInc Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, Pat. All of the finished cards are shown at the end of the video. The panels I work on during the video are standard A2 size and then are adhered to a plain white A2 cardbase once complete. Happy stamping!

Thank you for sharing your process. I looked through your supply list but could not see the glue you used. I’m always nervous about the paper buckling.

Hi Jill! Thank you for this very inspiring video. It’s so helpful. I do have a question. Do you also use watercolor paper for the backgrounds that you watercolor and stamp? I’m assuming if I did ink blending with a brush or foam tool I could use regular cardstock. I so want to use your sketch. Thank you!
@PennyBlackInc Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Kristine! Yes, I used watercolor paper for the background but you can definitely use regular cardstock if you plan to do ink blending with a brush or foam tool. I do that often, too. :) Happy stamping!

I am new to watercoloring. I have never used watercolors in a tube. Do you thin the medium out with water before bringing it to your image?
@PennyBlackInc Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Carrie! If they have hardened in the palette, then I add some water with my brush to activate them and get the "juicy" again. If they are right out of the tube, I use the water in my brush to dillute it down a bit. When I first started, I found the Sakura Koi Field Sketch Box super great to learn with. The watercolors are dry in the palette and you just add the water from your brush to activate the paint and start painting. Hope this helps!

thank you so much You are so so talented. What are the blue items you use to anchor your card when stamping ?
@PennyBlackInc Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Mary! Those are the magnets that come with the MISTI stamp positioning tool. I covered mine with blue painter's tape with a little excess hanging off the side so they are easier to grab. :)

Hi Jill. Love ur cards…truly beautiful…but so love also that u addressing how to make it all easier (decisionmaking). I c u used Memento ink even tho u coloured with watercolours …Memento is waterproof?
@PennyBlackInc Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Celina! I find that the lighter colors of Memento Ink, like the one used here, doesn't bleed or blend too badly. But if I was going to stamp in black and then paint with watercolors, I would use Ranger Archival or Versafine inks. Happy stamping!

Hi Jill! I appreciate so much your tips to avoid decision fatigue. Once again i have those stamps you used 😂,did you used the actual Arteza watercolors or their watercolor gouache? I looks a bit chalky like the gouache(pretty though), but maybe I'm wrong? P.S: I have my dedicated box to add my selection of stamps,cards and dies for my next project.
