How does it easily show the difference between tracks and roads. When i create a gpx and run it on my Garmin Montana 610, i can only change track colour. There isnt any distinction between the 2,

I wouldn’t say “easily” tell the difference, but the Smart Routing traces the roads perfectly, and your manual routing of the trails is crude and angular - so if a crude and angular section is coming up, that’s a trail. Another option is to do a little zigzag at the beginning and end of the trails.
