Thank you for sharing! A tutorial on how to package various items for shipment would be great if you are willing to do so. When to use poly mailers vs boxes etc? I see that some hats are shipped in boxes and some in poly mailers. Some shoes are shipped in boxes and some in poly mailers. How to package various hard goods like pots, small appliances, remotes, books, ornaments, jewelry etc. It appears that USPS ground advantage is used more often and it is a challenge trying to find various size "free" plain boxes (since you cannot use the USPS boxes) while trying to avoid having to purchase them when you are first getting started.

Before you even mentioned taping the Jomar unboxing I thought “I would love to see a video of her unboxing those boxes!” I like this video because watching you makes it seem so easy…I’m aware it is not…you are just good at what you do. I started reselling officially in 2018 also! I wish I had this video to watch in the beginning. I’m saving it so I can share with the people who come to me and just say “tell me all the things so I can start” lol this is perfect! I was just sitting here nodding my head saying yes girl the whole time! Also great sales! 🎉 I think the thing I wish I knew in the beginning is things don’t necessarily sell within a month. But not to let that discourage you. Resellers to me made it seem like things always sell fast. I thought I had something wrong with me. That I wasn’t doing it right. Sometimes things hang around for years. So I loved that when you were showing your solds at the end you were super honest about how long you had the item. I feel like that’s important to keep in mind for newbies also. ❤

We’ve been selling on eBay since 2003, and like most longtime sellers, we learned all the things the hard way. Every bad experience teaches you what you need to change along the way. Yes, do the jomar video. I think that would just be a fun video. Love ya girl!

Another TIP::: before going out and buying a lot of stuff, start with things you have at home that you want to part with. Then use the money to go thrifting... It will also give some experience with EBAY or any other selling platform. Have fun everyone

one or two return claims from ebay is nothing compared to the hundreds and thousands that walmart, target, krogers, HEB, and other major and minor stores have to deal with . Return claims are all a part of business.

I have probably 300 or more items (just stuff around my house. And I am scared to get started on eBay. I am scared that I will screwup shipping, printing labels, charging correctly etc. I have all the supplies I need and another thing I am a perfectionist and want to have a specific place to set everything up, but don’t really have a place to do it. I really want to do this. I have sold on marketplace but without shipping.
