An Effective Trap for Monitoring and Detection of Spotted Lanternfly

I live in Long Island, NY.We are starting to see the adults arriving this fall.I see that you considered 2 systemic insecticides for basal trunk applications.Could you elaborate a bit on the results with dinotefuran vs imadicloprid please.I have been doing trunk injections for various boring insects for years with positive results with imadicloprid.If i could get similiar results with a simple trunk spray, it seems to be a much quicker choice.I am aware that when using imadicloprid, caution is necessary , as not to also kill benefiscial insects.This is why the injections appealed to me..Also, it ssems to me that the dinotefuran is considerably more expensive. Any info would be appreciated Thank you
