It IS unlucky. But it is also a question of style and pace. She doesnt throw the darts with the same pace as MVG and others, consequently they are more likely to fall out. But what a player!

This is quite common in dart players who lack power in their throw, all she needs to do is rough the ends of her points with emery paper which I'm sure she does but you've got to keep doing it during the game. Maybe you're not allowed to in competition at this level, I don't know.

It's good to see MVG is done with his back issues, at least for the present. Back pain and spasms have a way of returning when we least expect them. This was a great match and both parties should be proud of themselves. Fallon was unshakable and simply lost to the better darts on this day. Over here in the States we live out west and my wife was an excellent player. She got to be the best women player in the state. I eventually reached that standing as well, except for men, but it took me slightly longer. I remember one regional tournament she beat everyone in the entire region including the guy who knocked me out. I couldn't have been more proud. I always said you don't need great strength to shoot darts so there's no reason a woman can't be as good or better than any man.

This was great. It shows that women can play at the same level as men. It also highlights the need for equality in the game. The argument that women's league has not got the depth is self fulfilling, if women are restricted as they have been, they will not get stronger. Fallon has shown, the huge improvement in her game, since she has been competing with men.

I already saw some tennis women vs men. It didn't go well... For the women. In tennis you must have strong arms. And anatomically men have stronger arms and those were pro tennis players. The mens serve are just too fast and women can't react to it fast enough. Im not saying women are bad at sports. It's just that in most sports men are better because we are anatomically Faster, stronger... Well in darts it's different it's more about the precision. That still doesn't mean men are better than women. We are just better at sports

@@soccerstar41 It's true though. She did play an amazing final, but rest of the tournament was nothing special. First round, she plays a dane who's only in the tournament cause of his nationality. He plays 75 average and is basicly a walkover for anyone in top 2000 darts. Then, she has a walkover in the next round because Gerwyn Price withdrew (quarter). Then, she has her first "real" game in the semifinal against Van Der Bergh. She wins that game with 88 average - a terrible game from Van Der Bergh. That was all she had to do, to play the final. So, in short, how to get second at the Nordic Masters: Get the easiest first round opponent, get a walkover in round 2, win a game with 88 average in third game and lose the fourth game.
