@@leightonwaugh8713I’m a Newcastle fan and I don’t think Milan knew. They sold him because they needed the money, Newcastle wanted him and it was a good price for both parties. Addicts hide their addictions, deep down they are know it’s wrong, are ashamed and they do everything to make sure nobody finds out. Especially if that addiction will get you a very long ban from the career you love. If his family, girlfriend or agent didn’t know then it’s very unlikely Milan did. However, if any proof emerges to show that Milan knew they’ll be in serious trouble, they are required to report situations like this to the Italian FA immediately. If they knew, didn’t report it and instead sold the player to get rid and make some money they’ll have the book thrown at them and Newcastle will sue the crap out of them too. I think it’s just bad timing for Newcastle though rather than Milan being deceitful.

Could you (or anyone) share this to AC Milan fan pages or anywhere so their fans could see this. Don't get me wrong, I still suspect that club knew beforehand about this, hence the smooth but fishy transfer process. But we need to tell their fans that Tonali is ours now, not them, as some of them claimed he did not want to be here. This club and the fans will support and help him back through his lowest-point of his career.
