Thank you for sharing your lovely home with the general public it was generous of you and your wife and exciting to see where Lord Mountbatten lived .His book Eighty years in pictures is a favourite of mine in fact I own two copies and I have a photograph of him on my door where I live in national city California years ago he used to live with his wife directly across the street with a pet capuchin monkey close to his work near the navy and steelyard at San Diego bay .thank you sincerely , Lara Grenfell of National city and please say hello to King Charles I knew him in my youth when I lived across from Frederica Manor in Chula Vista I also met him some years ago when Roger Waters of Pink Floyd reintroduced me to him and Camilla his wife he was tending livestock , dangerous work so she wouldn't let him say a word nice memory though !

Broadlands this is the house where the queen and her Philip spent their honeymoon in 1947 and what had of Norton's wife Penelope Eastwood Knatchbull Lady Romsey they married less than two months after Lord Mountbatten and his youngest brother died in that terrible bombing in August 1979 I'd like to what had become of them
