Amazing! I really love this build. I can even see expanding it out or making it a little taller to make an internal second level when you want to expand it for mid-game or even use the same concept for a later game build with upgraded materials.

Love this. I'd love your next video to add to this with a nice ship dock and then a stone bridge where those 2 big rocks are to connect to the other side of the river. Make the bridge tall enough so a ship can sail underneath. Can then extend the main base with a farming area and coal/smelting area!

That's a really cool build. I'm a big fan of making roundhouses and that's usually what I build. Something I do a little different is knockout one wall, usually on the side and build a large square room off to the side solely for storage and crafting. Line the walls with loads of crates and have my workbenches in the middle. Then out in the main circle area where the fire pit is I'll line a wall or two with crates for storage for cooking, and added tables and stuff to make it a cozy lounge area. I wasn't to sure about it at first when I decided to try it, but to me it was friggin epic. I did that on a public server with friends and my house became the hub for crafting and hanging out. Just something I liked, and maybe give you a few ideas. 🤟🍻

sounds like a real nice cosy place, I just think a round house is always nice build, easy access to everything instead of having to run into different rooms, everything is in a circle and right there for you :)

Very cool design!! I love the rotational symmetry. I wouldn't necessarily build this as my primary base early game base. But I think I'll steal this as a portal hub :-)

A big problem is hand cart access. When you return from a mining trip it won't be easy to transfer ore from the cart to the storage up those stairs. Needs a separate spot outside for forging and smelting.

Lots of great ideas in this video! I'll be honest I do not like how the roof turned out. I would have gone with more of a hut style/rounded roof for this style, but other than that lots of cool ideas and great attention to detail for finishing touches!! :)

I am so sorry for missing the premiere, have had some trouble with the notifications for some reason. Lovely build, and I couldn't help but laugh a bit when you ran around looking for that perfect spot to build on - it felt so much like the way I play, and I have friends that are even worse, building outposts litterally everywhere 😆 Very unexpected to hear singing in a Nordic language, btw. Norwegian, right?

ahaha yeah the most important thing for a build is Location location location :) and that song the Nordic one is one of my current favourites and yes it is Norwegian, no idea what it is about I just love it lol :)

I am a big fan of that 8 meter Octagon outpost build style. My fave in game base was similar to your build except I had a second floor and had a wrap around 360 balcony so I could snipe npcs while chilling at home. I would love to see you do a version of a base Thread Menace did on one his hardcore runs; a swamp crypt top base. Which I thought was pretty cool from an admitted non-builder. Therefore my recommendation for future build would be a crypt top swamp base.

That wrap around balcony sounds class, I am big fan of balconies and porches on builds always seems to bring the build to life, as well giving it some depth, and I watched threads hardcore video, he built on the crypt remember him saying all the time he was no builder lol but I thought it looked cool and a great idea, Might have a go at doing something like that :)

Very nice, yeah. I wish I had this much creativity when I first started playing the game. I've build a decent sized place with my mate but it doesn't really have character. It's more built for practicality. So I'm thinking of rebuilding somewhere else. Where I've got a nice looking house for the comfort points + a Kitchen area. And then close by a Crafting area. I just haven't got an idea yet on how i want it to look like unfortunately. Got any suggestions ?

I use dev commands for my build videos, but never use them when building in my playthroughs, If you want to do this too you can google it (valheim dev commands), but I would play and enjoy the game more before you try building with the dev commands, Thankyou for watching :)

I've been a console player for my whole life, and I luckily won an Oled Steam Deck so I have finally ventured over to some PC games for the first time in my life. I've never even played a game with mods before nevermind know what dev commands are! Hahaha! Great video, the build looks amazing. It makes my house look hideous! I really enjoy the building in this game, it's all I've done so far! 😂

So love most of your stuff. This is pretty nice over all, but...personally....not a fan of the roof or lack of storage/sleeping space. I seen one guy commented about busting out one wall and making a square addition for at least storage which this really needs. Not hating, just pointing out a few short comings, at least imo.

Nice. After 100's of hours playing myself, I have not found how to plant berries and shrubs. Is that a mod? Also needs a dock/pier ;)

Yeah it is a mod I use for making the landscape look better, it is called (Planteverything) would be nice if you could plant berry bushes without the mod.

You can use dev commands to spawn in bushes, plants etc, and as they are full grown, they are no biome dependent

Exactly my complaint to the devs, pleased someone else as noticed this, even the braziers create smoke like they burning rubber lol but I learnt to live with it now, would be nice if they reduced it a bit.

Starter house with upgrade for forge, which needs chains, and upgrade for workbench, which needs obsidian? Are you sure, it's starter house at all?

5 min to get to what the titles says the vids about. Spent those 5 minutes walking around resource gathering, and location scouting. Gets to building and starts flying in the air accomplish it...

Too complicated, too much detail. The genius of it is simple. I don't recommend building such a thing at the beginning of the game.
