I like the roller for the wall paper from the hardware store rolls better then the pony roller🤗

You can use a wall paper roller, the kind that is used for smoothing the seams.

I'd roll the clay over more so that the foot is wider.

I have done wiggle wire bottoms with a pony roller before, it works great

Wow! How creative! I have never trimmed a pot but I have been trying to find a way to add a foot to my handbuilt mugs. If you have any ideas please let me know. So glad to hear hubby is all better. What a blessing.

Like the look of this technique …only issue for me is that this is that water will collect in the base in the dishwasher which is a bit of a pain!
