Back in 1994 when I was 16, I watched an out of town game between Alaska and Purefoods in my hometown Cebu City. I got to meet and even speak with Coach Tim briefly. Before the game, he was actually in the hallway looking outside in a rather pensive mood all by himself. As much as the fans who saw him there wanted to approach him, they were a little reluctant coz they said, at least some of them did, that they didnt have enough "English" baon. But I mustered enough guts to ask Tim for an autograph coz I wanted to get the autograph of every Alaska player on my Alaska cap, including the coaching staff and GM Joaqui. And Coach Cone was unbelievably accommodating to me and told me a few messages of persistence, consistency and never giving up on your dream. I will never ever, ever forget that moment with the GREATEST COACH IN PBA HISTORY. #LakasAlaska

CTC has mastered the triangle, Coach Norman is master of pick n roll, Coach Chot is dribble drive, Coach Yeng wants motion offense, Coach Leo is into low post and kick out but the greatest of them all is Coach Tim. The best PBA coach.
