My ex girlfriend's favorite region was Liyue. Whenever we had time to play together, we'd have "dates" from Liyue Harbor to the Mt. Hulao. But her favorite spot was a bench overlooking Qingce Village. She said if there was anywhere she'd wanna live in the game with me, it'd be there. We broke up three months ago, and I don't dare touch the game as much anymore. I logged in again recently, and Adeptus' Solace was playing. I broke down for a solid 10 mins. Anyways, I'm doing better now and I'm actually waiting for the release of Fontaine. But whenever I pass by Liyue, I'm reminded of my love...

Ah, that happened to me with a (I would like to say) close friend. We met when I was new to the game, he joined my world and helped me with bosses and such, we climbed the highest peaks, enjoyed the scenery from the floating study. Eventually we told one another about our very different lives from across the real world. He confided in me, I confided in him. We were both the therapist friends in our respective groups and families. We shared many things in common, despite the distance. I would look forward to coming home and seeing that he was online, and we would explore, laughing at missed jumps, glitching around. Then after a year, a month had gone by, and he still hadn’t played. I thought nothing of it, life happens. Skip 3 months, nothing. I chatted to see if he would respond. Nothing. Now almost 2 years. Still nothing. What worries and guilts me still is that he talked of ending things. Everything. I knew he struggled with mental health and suicidal thoughts. He always came to chat about it, and I would do my best to encourage him to push on, that there’s much to live for and many journeys to be had. I am honestly terrified that something happened. Something awful, and I couldn’t help. I cherish those early days. Keep pushing on friend, the journey continues, and many joys are still waiting to be fulfilled

Genshin is my memory. Lot of things happened in real life. And genshin always be there. When one patched to another came out one by one, it always as if worked as a bookmark. Genshin always watching my life. From the moment i fell into abyss, from my family is still completed to the day when one of them gone to heaven. I always feel gratefull with hoyo. Now that fontaine's here, no doubt it's really beautiful and everything but at the same time game feels bit stressful...with getting deeper into the lore. although it does give a pretty great in-game experience but sometimes I just really miss the fun and light stories and sceneries from mondstadt and liyue. it feels so comforting, yet nostalgic and like...home
