I’ve been a (die hard) Weezer fan since the Blue album, I’ll never forget the first time I saw them in ‘94 at The Warfield Theatre in San Francisco. WTF? Why is Rivers solo show like 2X longer than a Weezer show? :( Love Weezer, but their shows are too f-ing short. Seen Weezer probably a dozen times and their shows usually clock in at like 1 hour 15. Love them, but their shows are too friggin short.
@eloisapantazis62326 жыл бұрын
William Leary IKR?! They always leave us hangin’ like WTF?
@aoarms6 жыл бұрын
It could also be a tour thing, shorter sets because they have to do more shows. One man on his own chilling with an acoustic is infinitely less strenuous than, a tour + trying to compete over drums, electric guitar and loud ass bass 4/5 times a week. Then again Foo Fighters put on a 3+ hour show every single night, but dave grohl can barely hit the notes he use to. Rivers sounds immaculate and just as good when the songs were recorded. Minus some top range (which we all lose eventually)
@mr.ohmann8276 жыл бұрын
Seriously, I'm always disappointed when they leave out so many epic songs

Not sure why they shortened their shows...I have went to Weezer shows in the past that were like 2 and 1/2 hour sets and were awesome because of all the songs they have.

When he mentions Brian contributed a little to the writing of LA girlz anyone know what his contribution was? I assumed it maybe was the bridge because when the band does it live he really gets into that part? Unless it’s the verse melody? Just was always curious as it’s one of if not my fav from the white album.

I like his voice, his personality and the choice of the songs, but this is really dull to me. He plays just the basic chords on the acoustic guitar like a random busker in every city. I think he should think of some other arrangements for these songs, maybe include piano or some other instruments. It would sound so much more unique and interesting. My opinion.
