An Exciting Mission

I set off on a mission to locate a buoy and GPS tracker which had washed ashore close to the Isle of Ulva. It’d been placed in the sea over in America and had found its way across the Atlantic. I decided to make a night of it, so I took my bivvy and sleeping bag with me. I hope you enjoy.

Nick,I absolutely loved your film. I'm not a Kayaker but loved watching what you do. I live in Canada now but spent the first 25yrs of my life in this beautiful country. Please don't stop what you're doing,it's inspirational to many. I suffer from depression and find nature to be the best anti depressant in the world. Watched this after a week of kayaking around Anglesey and whilst getting ready to go to work. You allowed me to squeeze out a bit more escapism before hitting reality again. Inspiring video that lifted my spirits and reminded me that there’s adventures waiting just round the corner. Have you ever noticed the weird stone bath thing at the north end of Staffa? If so have you any idea what it is? It's a very strange thing in a very strange place!

@@NickRayLifeAfloat It's a really weird thing. I've no idea what it was used for. I landed up at the north end because I figured it would be a decent place to camp. It was but it was a bugger to get landed and carry all my stuff up, and that's where I found it. It's nestled away up against the cliff on some sloping rocks.
