No one from the Midwest will need to use a Vegas to SoCal high speed rail. High speed from KC to St. Louis to Chicago would be amazing. Denver to KC would be amazing amazing because it's such a long terrible drive with nothing in between. It might even open up development and employment opportunities for the empty region down the center of the country.
