I had heard a gramophone record in 1956 or 1957 at a small tea restaurant. It was a very sweet song composed by music director Sarswati Devi . I didn't know at that time anything about the ghazal .For me it was a very very sweet song .,, "Lagtaa nahi hai jee meraa ujde dayaar mei ,kiski bani hai aalmei naa paayedaar mei '. I read the singer's name , it was Habib Wali Mohammad . Very very sweet and classically trained voice . Everything in this song is marvellous . Habib Wali Mohammad Sahab's rendition of this ghazal is so sweet , beautiful and touching that even in November 2022 I am listening to this rare , marvellous and immortal gem of heart -touching , heart soothing music . My high regards to this great legendary singer.

My deceased brother used to adore his style and voice. Habib is an ace and a greatly admired artist of a bygone intellectual Era. We love you sincerely sir and your legendary ghazal Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo is a masterpiece. It's really sad that this program doesn't suit your level of intellect.

So interesting insights of revered Habeeb sahab ! In the course of discussion, it is said that Nisar Baazmi and a set of instructions on Indian Classical music in #_Marathi. Being a Marathi, and lover of classical music.... I now am terribly interested to know what kind of that set in Marathi you have.... 2. You also mentioned that you performed a classical piece in Raag Chandrakauns. I am equally interested to listen to it. I am indian...Have come across with this program thru.. aashiyan jal gaya gulistan loot gaya. Who this anker is here ? ..Her name etc. Seen/listened for the first time.

Not only this, calling them with street names like: 'meri jan', putting them in an awkward position by asking to have personal relation with them and using vulgar words and expression to make them uncomfortable not only spoiled the whole show but also challenged the sanctity of music and art. I wonder why Habib Saheb accepted this invitation. It was against his stature and dignity as a high calibre singer of India and Pakistan.
