This is one of those places that you aren't really sure if they exist or they are just in movies - very cool to take a look around inside

I’ve walked by the club and have always wished I could go in ! Like a kid with his nose pressed against the window. Thanks so much for this awesome partnership and getting us inside the Explorer’s Club ! Another great vid !

We are particularly proud of the fact that The Explorers Club promotes science and exploration and has set the course for thousands of young explorers who go into the field. We are 501c3 non-for-profit, NGO with the United Nations and UNESCO, and give out between $300,000 and a million dollars a year to graduates and post graduates on expedition.

That Will Roseman guy is like a cross between Woody Allen and Indiana Jones!

I walked by this place the other day and wondered what it was like inside. Would love to be a member someday, but I need to start exploring first.

Once I get back from visiting family in Texas in two weeks, I’m starting. The videos you guys put out (DIRT, 72 Hours, even the home tours) have been inspiring me to get out more. 2024 is going to be the push. Plenty nature and history in and around DC to explore. Also hopefully get my first passport stamp (will only have taken 31 years) if I can make this trip to the Euros in Germany work. Try to see if I can find an expedition to join. These videos are giving me the drive to push myself. Keep up the great work.

I visited this place when I visited New York. Straight out of the beginning scene of Atlantis when they’re planning the journey. The people are so friendly too. Although it’s only limited to the first two floors for visitors it was my favorite part of New York

Next time I am in NYC, can I visit The Explorers Club or is it a membership only club? I have no problem making a donation or paying for a ticket. Thanks.

Great question! The Explorers Club is open to visits from members, scholars, and others interested in history and the practice of exploration. You can find out more information about getting a tour on their site explorers.org

Also missing an audio track at 6:21. Silent where I’m assuming a music bed should be heard.

On the contrary. Not colonial at all. The Explorers Club promotes science and exploration and has set the course for thousands of young explorers who go into the field.
