Important characteristic of Modi ji gov is transparency and no corruption at highest decision making levels. And all crucial ministers hard working, absolutely in sync with their data/stats. Absolute pleasure listening to them and trying to make sense of India's progress.

Wow!!! So much to take from this interview. She is completely changed. If she was like her 2019 version, I would have left the interveiw in very first 5 minute. She is not only calm, composed but she has got the required skills. She sounds more confident and like a true states-person.

Respected mam, To improve Make in India project, why don't we impose separate claimable igst tarrif. For example if we impose claimable 28% igst for imported industrial electronic material and 18%igst to sell inside India. The same imported goods will become more costlier to claim 28% with 18℅. Importers will sell their goods at an average of 30% profit which will be favour for local Electronic equipment manufacturer. Electronic field which is ten time riskier than other sectors is the back bone of Make in India initiatives.... Thank you.

Producing Green Steel is fine, great in principle. But it will take time for our sources of energy turn fully green. The basic infrastructure in all those so called 'Advanced Developed Economies' is fully developed or even at a saturation point. They only need to top up their infrastructure to meet future demands which is just incremental. No wonder they are demanding green steel and putting tariff on steel manufactured using other sources of energy, because they are not in desperate need and can afford to wait, thereby putting downward pressure on our steel. We have an insatiable internal demand for steel and cement to meet the CAPEX infrastructure construction demand, be it the rails for rail tracks or reinforcing steel for infrastructure construction. Why should we be hamstrung by this imposition of green steel and consequently slow down our infrastructure development? Here is a case in point. Most of the European countries who were making so much of noise about green energy, renewables, carbon footprint etc, went very quiet when Russia stopped supplying gas to those countries in the harshest of the winter. I believe Europe went back to the old ways of meeting their energy demands including thermal power and seemed to be less concerned about the carbon footprint. Moral of the story is every one looks after their interest first. We too should significantly ramp up our steel production to meet internal demands while we continually aim to achieve the carbon emission targets by 2050 or 2075 or whenever.

She has all the answers and great points and may well answer in a calm, cool, collected and in a composed manner. She must take a leaf out of Sri. Ashwini Vaishnavji's page. Always keeps smiling and never looses his cool. Gadkariji and Piyush Goyal are similar. They never stop smiling while answering even the toughest questions. That makes them look cool.
